I think the Nintendo Direct will hammer down the same points from the E3 2011 conference, and try to damage control the confusion people have over the console. That way they can start the 2012 conference with minimal confusion.

Considering third party have been hyping features that they're waiting for Nintendo to talk about, I doubt it will be a recap of what we know. NFC sorta leaked early, so they're definitely going to bring it up again. I just don't think they're doing this just to bring up what they've already talked about. They will expand on things we know and add more detail.
