Was hoping it would have optical/toslink audio out. I gotta get with the times and get a proper HDMI receiver at some point.
Why did EatChildren get accurate secret devkit info and not the rest of us?

Can we ask how you know?I'm not a dev. But they are correct.
I can understand that it got plenty of RAM... what about graphics?
The extra ram will be the big part.
Unless the PS4/Nextbox have 4 gigs...
PS3= Hercule
Wii U= Gotenks
Yeah and I want to know why we should believe you since as you say you're not in the industry and you didn't get given that tag for no reason.
That's what makes me think it's fake, without clockspeeds of the GPU and the number of shaders it's impossible to place the performance of this thing.
I would expect them to get at 4gigs.
It can do around 3000 pushups nonstop in 100x normal gravity, when properly hydrated of course.Using Dragon Ball Z terms, what does this mean?
Can someone tell me if these are good?
in pc-terms? midrange? (with low end being current gen and high end being the gtx690)
3GB for devkit, 1.5GB for retail.
I don't get it. Retail machines have half the memory as dev kits? So retail machines have 1.5 GB of memory?
Why the frown, the current hd consoles have a third of that.

That's fine. Mock me for my tag. I'm telling you this is pretty much a copy+paste job from the SDK lol.
Can somebody translate this to a more understandable format? Dragon Ball Z power levels perhaps.
So it's unified memory of 1.5 GB (minus whatever OS takes away)?
Also, if the features are modelled after AMD R7XXX and the GPU has a suffix of '7', does it hint that the GPU may be based on de-tuned R7xxx itself?
I thought Epic were pushing for 4GB of RAM in next-gen.
Don't get so defensive. All everyone wants to know is why they should trust you since you admit to not being in the industry.
It confirms much more modern architecture than the 360. And it has significantly more RAM. But how much more powerful is hard to say without clocks and more info on the GPU.Moon language to me. What is all that supposed to mean?
Some people have hinted that it has jumped to 2GB in the last dev kits but we'll see.
No support for popular compression formats would mean no 5.1 here for example, and for anyone not willing to buy a new receiver just for a console.Support for 6 channel discrete uncompressed audio (via HDMI).
Why is no one commenting on the inclusion of a Tesselation unit? That's a good thing, too, right?
Doesn't mean it's fake, it means Nintendo was/is purposefully hiding that info. Which basically all sources have confirmed.
What kind of PC graphics card level of power are we looking at here?

They'll most likely get it in NextBox but Nintendo probably doesn't want to put out a $500 system right now.

so roughly how does it compare to the 360 and ps3? i felt like i was reading a chinese or something since i dont know anything about technical specs.
