I could see them doing a free to play UT4 just as a way to get th engine out there as kind of a next gen demonstration project.

If this and the Square tech demo are what developers are shooting for, then I am terrified about what game budgets are going to look like.
Better than spending a ton of money on a game that doesn't look or run well. You know it's time for new hardware when PC F2P looks better than console retail.

Aside from it looking great, the best part is all the talk about how easy and quick it is to add/change things using the engine cutting development time down 10 fold and allowing even the artists to do most of it themselves. This is exactly the type of thing next gen desperately needs and i'm glad Epic sees that as well.

Huge jump and graphics and easy as hell to develop on = win.

Im going out on a limb here but I think the Wii U outperforms an iphone. Clearly its not optimal intended target but if Iphones can get it Wii U will
Feature set's a big deal though, I THINk that's why something like Infinity Blade could run on an iPhone 3GS despite the stronger Wii not supporting UE3.

I'm gonna have to echo the sentiments of the many people complaining about the art style. I think it definitely took some of the oomph out of it.

You are correct. Being able to edit and code in engine much easier will be priceless. Its one of the reasons companies like Bioware went with Hero Engine gfor their MMO sadly. It offered similar tools. Quick iterations is a very valuable tool

well, if feature set of Wii U doesn't surpass 360/PS3, then they indeed have a valid reason not to make it Wii U compatible, as probably it will require a lot of modification.
