But is naoto's new design actually applied in the game? (both P4G and P4U)

If its just novel then I don't think its a big deal...

...it's not like naoto is the pinnacle of deep character development anyways...

Its not really "atlus" thats doing it. Its just a noncanon spinoff novel that has nothing to actually do with the games.
Official fanfiction is still official.

Naoto should have joined prior to mitsuo, at least with the at least one implied extra dungeon, she has more of a chance to shine.

Edit: And all of this yapping about Naoto's design is detracting from the real issue; Arena's turning Chie into some chibi-loli-whatever. BLECH.

If you mean her new English voice, her Japanese voice was always hyper as hell so it's not unprecedented.

Also, and this is just speculation but, based on that arena trailer I'm pretty sure that
those are all their shadow selves anyway.
So it makes sense that their voices are off.

Chie in English has a deep voice and has a very down to earth personality. Her Japanese one is cute, but it's very high pitched and excitable. They're quite different but both are fitting to her character.

To the person who asked about the file size, sorry I do not know as I bought a retail copy. My vita is set to my American account so I can download from the US store and buy retail in Japan. Enables me to have access to pretty much all content.

So far it would seem that the Mari social link is very much akin to Margaret in P3, except where as Margaret didn't actually pass time, Mari does!! But it's a good option for days when your links aren't available and you have nothing to do but eat at Aiya.

Also, you can hang out with some characters at night time in this game instead of being restricted to fishing, studying, etc. That way you can boost your social link points for your next meeting. It's like a sunday date - big boost but no level up. Only seen Yousuke outside but as you get toward the end and the jumps between levels get wider, this will help a lot to Mac the link.

Reading books is different, and it's one thing they've done to cut down on time consumption (since you'll need more time to do the extra links). For one, they finish quicker - A great Man takes two sittings instead of four, and you get all of the stat bonus (courage) at the end instead of as you read it. There's also a UI that tells you how many chapters you have left in each book.

The books also give you additional boosts aside from the time you read it. For example there's a book about how to study, if you read this you get extra knowledge boosts while studying from then on. I have no doubt the fishing book helps with your fishing ability somehow as well.

Wow. Well, I can live with that, it just means that when I wanna hear Reach Out I have to take matters into my own hands.

The new battle theme is fucking great by the way, a good replacement that way you don't have to hear another 60-100 of Reach Out to the Truth (even though I love the song) and it is nice that you still hear it when you get Player Advantage. I don't know if anyone asked, but size-wise it was I believe 3.1 or 3.2 Gigs for the PSN version.

The new battle theme is ok. I prefer the original. but replaying P4 with new music is certainly appealing.

My Vita is ready.

I think most of that size is from the extra videos they added, like clips from the Persona Music Live concerts + new anime cutscenes and extra voice acting.

ULTRA MEGATON:

You can get a list of all Personas you can currently fuse, and you can pick which skills to inherit.

WHAT THE FUCK
WHAT THE FUCK

Wow. This game justifies itself already. God damn. lol

And here I thought that they would try to go backwards and screw over the people who play these games in order to artificially lengthen the game. :p

And here I'm trying my best not thinking about buying a Vita for this game alone. You're making this hard dude.

Yukiko looks high.

Because she is!
Or officially not, they can't show drunk minors yadda yadda
I'm pretty sure it's from the King's Game segment of the P4 anime. I think it's about Yu and Rise shenanigans.
