the promo pics for the first episode confirm that it will basically have everything I want to see in the first episode.

Hank walking and being awesome, walt and jesse possibly RV shopping, Mike returns to see what has happened.

Why is it so far.

Beautiful. Reminded me of the Arrested Development ones

Did you happen to notice
WHERE Hank is walking?

That's probably the biggest spoiler in the pictures.

Am I missing something? In the promo photos, I see
Mike not Hank standing with Walt and Jessie at the junkyard.
Are there other photos somewhere?

Gus' office at Los Pollos Hermanos? I mean Hank had already tied Gus' chicken place to the manufacturer that provided equipment for super meth lab, so why would this be shocking?

Guys, remember that in the S4, all of Hank's theories are confirmed with Gus being blown up with Hector.

We even see that when Skylar calls Walt at the end.

Nope, though they have brought up the idea of flashbacks with him involved. Not sure if they're going to pursue that idea.

I hope they don't. This is the last season. They don't need to be wasting any more time on Gus. He was already around for too long.

I agree that Gus' time in the spotlight is over, but I think he was around for just the right amount of time.

At first, I wasn't too keen on how Season 4 was so similar to Season 3 (compared to Seasons 1 and 2), but upon further reflection, I think that was a good thing. Season 1 and 2 showed Walt and Jesse struggling to find ways to distribute. They were small-time, and so were always getting fucked over, and looking for better options. It's only natural that when they finally get into the big leagues, they'd spend a lot of time there. And Gus' role was handled perfectly across both seasons; in Season 3, he and Walt established a great amount of mutual respect, but in Season 4, he was a huge threat to both Walt and Jesse.

I'll miss both Gus and Hector Salamanca, but they both served their purpose in the story, so it's much better they go out on a high note than stick around for no real reason. I don't mind them appearing in flashbacks, but only if that's to build up another character.

Believed to be live feed, with no storage. I thought the final shot of season 4 was going to be Hank, at Gus' laptop, seeing Walt in the superlab looking up at one of the cameras. How wrong I was.

Nah, if that happened, then that wouldn't leave a lot of room for Season 5 at all. Hank would have Walt dead to rights.

EDIT: Damn, I meant to edit my last post, not make a new one.

Maybe Hank will see footage of Walter cooking, but won't be able to recognize him because of the working suit. That would be cool

My theory: The episode begins with Hank discovering Walt is Heisenberg somehow in Gus's office. It's a flash forward. Why else would Hank be walking in an episode that takes place within days of the S4 finale? Alternately, this scene could be at the end of the episode and it's been a week or more since the explosion and Hank is starting to walk without a cane.

Good theory, although it might ruin the build-up to that moment if they followed that strategy?

So many black bars already... probably time to go into hiding till the premiere.
It's all just speculation based on promo shots of 5.01. Really nothing too spoilerish. The new character bios on AMCs site are way more spoilery.

So does anyone think episode 1 will have anything to do with
New Hampshire
based on the title of the episode?

Episode title:
