Seems he has to take back 3 of Orlando's bad contracts. I'm sure he'd like to trade Scola but he's kind of a bad contract himself

Really liked Scola, shame he pretty much sucks ass now
Well one guy is still elite at his position, and can change the whole scope of the offense.
Rockets current roster is absolutely crazy. At least Kahn was able to get Kevin Love and Rubio with all his wackiness.....theres nobody on that list that is even starting level...
Andrew can get you 20/10 a night and will sign the extension....

Love and Rubio are second round fodder at best. Better than HOU but the idea is that Dwight has to stay b/c it's the only place he'll get paid. He'll attract that second star and Morey can build around it.
I agree with thekad on the bad contracts. I have faith in Morey to build a roster, but at some point all those bad contracts they have to take on make that impossible. And he'll be trading all his future picks. Not sure what he would have to work with. Richardson and Hedo is just such a bitter pill to swallow

What's the most you'd take back? I'd be alright with Jrich, Duhon and Howard. And with Motie signed, I'm pretty sure he can't be traded. So as long as we kept him and one of the rooks I'd sleep at night.
Keep Lamb and Motie. Take back no one, but Hedo. Tank is fucked for a year, but next year's draft is looking pretty bad so whatevs.
What we're looking at is getting nothing for Scola, taking on multiyear contracts, and giving away all of our future talent for Morey's job security. So yeah, hopefully it's BS but Feigen is always solid.
it makes no sense....taking hedo/jrich/duhon along with howard. Why would Howard resign next year if Houston is capped out with all that crap? Its basically the same situation Orlando is in right now.

If he does the deal as Feigen outlined then I will join in with the tar and feathers. It'd be the same awful situation that Orlando was in. Even if they keep Martin and his contract expires, their still isn't much wiggle room before re-signing Howard
So Houston is working on gutting their team and becoming what Orlando currently is. A franchise with bad contracts and a Center who wants out. Only the Wizard can make sense of all this.

They wouldn't be capped out. Both Hedo and Duhon can get half their contracts cut off the books, Richardson only makes $6 million. All the Rockets forwards left would be cheap.

It's actually incredible how much a potential Orlando-LA-Houston 3 way makes sense for every team involved. If the Wizard and Hennigan have any brains they should go for that or Hennigan should go for Bynum. Since he's either going for a straight blow up and tank+random picks or he can get the proven all star in Bynum.
