Filmore was that one cartoon for me that always seemed like it was really awesome, but I never got many chances to watch it, I would always catch the last like 5 minutes of an episode or something.

I think a bit of context would actually help... Unless the only hilarity is a dig at the girls cooking in which case I don't think I could class it as the best cartoon scene ever.

X Middle School has gone Canada Crazy - and the ambassador's son is staying over, along with his assistant Penny Madrid, who happens to be an old partner in crime with Fillmore. Winston Kotter, the Canadian ambassador, turned Penny around just as the Safety Patrol turned Fillmore around - but Fillmore can't help but suspect something is up, especially as a huge supply of counterfeit baseball cards appear. Unfortunately for Fillmore, Winston has full diplomatic immunity and plans to pin the crime on Penny. Without the power to officially bust him, what can Fillmore and the Safety Patrol do?

So Filmore is basically an ex-criminal turned cop, errrr safety patrol officer and Penny was his old partner in crime. She's introduced as a completely new person who's now "clean." Plot. Obvious Canadian ambassador is bad guy. Filmore & his partner (Ingrid) bust him. Filmore agrees to go on a date with her. Simple right?

HOWEVER. At end of the episode, it's revealed that she stole the drugs, errr cards the entire time. (How did he find out? She accidentally said what kind of cards were stolen; information that only the safety patrol was privy too) So perfect!

Spongebob has some pretty fantastic scenes in the first three seasons. Too many to list here actually.

EDIT: The Bugs Bunny scene above was incredible, but I have to go with the Iron Giant Superman line, as someone mentioned above. Great, great scene.

This isn't a troll. I'm not saying at as a fact (ok well the OP implies otherwise...) but this is just perfect in every way. You don't even need to know what Filmore! is to enjoy this scene, but if you did watch it you know exactly where i'm coming from. Context isn't necessary! (but again if you know about Filmore! you'll enjoy it a lot more)

I've mentality prepared myself for the ensuing shitstorm.

This was...pretty horrible. maybe it relates to you personally? but without context, it's nothing special. not funny, not touching, just....eh?
