Alright, I've successfully navigated my way through the seven stages of grief over not being able to purchase LBP digitally today. I have fully accepted that I might need to wait until 9/25. Until then I will continually play the E3 LBP trailer on my Vita to the tune of "Everbody Hurts" by R.E.M. as I drown my remaining woes in hard liquor.

LoL. I just pictured Max Payne going all ape shit and drunk over not being able to get LBP Vita early.

You think so?? The IGN review said it's still floaty but he didn't elaborate. I remember they said LBP2 wasn't as floaty but I thought it felt the same.

I'm pretty sure that they kept controls 100% the same in LBP2 so that all the LBP levels would still play the same.

the floaty controls have kinda of grown on me. Not that they are perfect yet. It definitely differentiates the series, I wonder how it would play though if everything thing where smooth and quick.

Sony really seems to enjoy causing pain to it's DD customers. This is just another case of them rubbing sand on it before going in.

touch my sack anywhere sucks.

not only does it not make sense.. (are there different places to touch a sack?)
but it detracts from the funniness of the touch pun.

touch my sack... boy is the best one
I read it as implying you can touch a sack while you're out. Portable sack touching.

First couple of levels alone justify the Vita's touch mechanics. If the game keeps pace like this then this game will unquestionably be the Vita's killer app imo.

Here's a video I filmed of a level fairly early in the game. Sorry it's a little out of focus at times. I should have put it on autofocus. Still, the level/music was really cool.

Here.

I was bored, so I picked this up earlier tonight. Much better than the PSP game, except for...

...that asshole rear touch panel. Yet again, it's in my way, and now I get a stupid yellow marker appearing in the corners of the screen all the time.

I hate, hate, hate that Sony put that stupid thing on the Vita. The one blemish on an otherwise solid piece of hardware.

Yeah I agree, the rear touch pad was just dumb.

The only time I had to use the rear touchpad was in Uncharted and it felt lame as hell.

Plus its a scratchable surface, I hate it.

I usually use the rear touch pad only for the apps.

I think Tearaway might be the first game that use it properly. Little Deviants was just a showcase.

EscapePlan has a few use cases as well, but they are too scattered in the game to make any major impact. It did make some level hard though.

I thought the rear touch worked really well in the beta. It also feels really damn good in Sound Shapes.

I guess I'm just used to it now.

I like the rear touch pad. Loving the game so far. I've only cleared the first world though. I'm amazed at how clean it looks, and how much it feels like the console versions. Leagues ahead of the PSP version, for sure (which I still enjoyed).

I'm eager to see what the community come up with in the future for sure.

It tends to work fine when the level calls for it. The problem is that it's placing the yellow circle on the screen all the time, not just when there is a green block. As a result, I keep seeing stray yellow circles pop in and out in the corners, since there's no way to comfortably hold the system without stray contact on the panel.

Worse than that, I had a moment where the panel wouldn't respond when I needed to push a green block, only to realize it was due to my other hand accidentally touching the opposite corner.

Really enjoying the game. As my first LBP experience, it's definitely unique, beautiful, creative and rewarding. Looking forward to playing more of the game.

The only flaw so far: weird clipping w/ the environment :0/
