Ooh the RE2 remake question. Answer: No, not as of now. But if the fans clamor for it, that is something Capcom would take under consideration.

Of course they said this during the RE5 release as well, so... yeah.

God damn, gotta have your finger on the mute trigger for all these gameplay spoilers Kobayashi is giving away. No wonder they keep dropping spoilers in their trailers.

id rather capcom not even bother with a re2 remake. they wont get it right.
This. RE2 was awesome enough, I'd rather see ReMake on PSN.

*pipe dream*

Not even bothering with the stream/most trailers. Which makes it hard to gain any RE6 news.

That's why I'm not listening. Any question regarding the camera? like:"Hey morons, how you can come out with such stupid camera? Can we get a fix?"

That was a waste of time, they basically asked questions that we all already knew the answers to. At least it's interesting to find out that Kobayashi's favorite campaign is Chris'.

Why does Capcom pretend like that game never existed? ;_;
Hurts so bad.

One of the best RE ever made. The feeling of not having to play with plot-armored people made it so good. Sooo good. The online portion made 90% of the game.

"...help..."

-Someone needs help!

*runs around, changing areas*

*finds teammate laying on the floor crawling away from zombies*

*kevin-ability headshots them*

*gets player up and carries to safety*

Sogood. One of those games where voicechat was not needed. Everything was well-crafted.

This seems like a notion quite biased by the lens of modern gaming. Once upon a time, a video game was something you could play by yourself, becoming immersed in its world (or its simple gameplay loop; a game doesn't have to be realistic or representative to be immersive) instead of talking to your friends. Fixed camera angles and narrow hallways are just a couple of reasons co-op wouldn't have made sense as a fundamental part of the RE philosophy. You can argue that pre-rendered backgrounds only existed due to technical limitations, but narrow hallways in a creepy mansion were obviously a conscious choice not dictated by tech.

There is a gameplay video (a very short one) that shows Jill running alongside Chris through the infamous corridor with dogs. I don't remember what was the source, and I can't find it right now on YouTube. It was mixed with gameplay parts from Tomb Raider 1. I think it was from PSX (or maybe Sega Saturn) demo reel.

It was amazing. I'm tempted to rent the games.

Because outbreak director was busy making RE6 for you :)
Capcom already gave us a next-gen "Outbreak" game. You don't like it?

Well I played the demo and.... it was fine. I don't see why this is anything to start a war over.

I'm siding with DGAF and will be picking this up on day one.

Wow, I did a complete 180 degree with my opinion on the demo.

I am a big fan of the franchise and loved RE5 and RER (played them with classic control) so I was really excited by this game but when I first played the demo I was so disapointed. I didn't recognize my beloved RE and everything felt so clunky like a failed attempt at a modern TPS.

Since I played the demo I was always wondering why I hated it so much, capcom couldn't have failed so much, even RE5 and RER felt good and was enjoyable, Re6 couldn't be so bad...
So today I downloaded the demo again and gave it another try. Only thing I changed was to activate the laser sight and get rid of the aiming crosshair.

I also tried to play the game more like past entries. Instead of always running I tried to play more slowly by not pushing the analog stick all the way. I kinda forced the classic tank control on myself and combined with the laser sight it did wonders, finally I was back with the RE experience I love so much.

I did also enjoy the scenery and atmosphere much more.

I will definitely buy this game day one in the end.

Well, maybe I'll give your suggestions a go. I really WANT to pick this game up next week but I need to be sure that it's not going to be a clunky mess.

Looking forward to seeing the first reviews roll in too.

You sound just like me (game changed so much for the best when I got rid of the crosshair), so I will do you a nice favor:

Dial down the aiming and camera movement sensitivity from 5 (default) to 4.

You're welcome.

Did the game 'work' this way? I mean, do you think it was meant to be played this way? Pacing, Difficulty and so on.

Okay so got my PSN email and I see RE6 is gonna be day one digital.
Pretty happy as now I'll have 1-6 sittin' on my HDD (^____^)

Old news I know, but I just found out and am canceling my Amazon preorder now

The change they add to this game. Its pretty hard to believe that its supposed to be palyed that way. I mean all the quick counter, slide, weapon switch, ...

make sure the pudding isn't too soggy but that just ruins everything
