The wording from the FAQ is that all launch copies of BOII will have Nuketown 2025, so it should be at Newegg, etc.

I don't get it, is the map going to be in ruins or rebuilt but more futuristic?

I've been on a media blackout from this game. I'm going to preorder it at the MS Store in SF this week.

Does anyone have a full list of the weapons in the game as well as killstreaks?

Think the wiki has pretty much everything, they've shown basically all of the MP since the Gamescom footage, there's a bunch of stuff on youtube too. Small tweaks since then of course, but its largely the same.

No admins = FAIL.
VAC = FAIL

Mw2 /3 are hacking shitfests because of vac and no admins...ugh.
This kinda makes me wanna cancel my pre order and go with the Wii U Ver...pc is so much better but hacks wise mw2/3 are fucking unplayable and this seems like itll be the same...

Sure , the original BO had VAC , but it also had freakin admins...

Hopefully im missing something here

Yes i did see this : And starting on launch day we will have a full-time dedicated pc anti-cheat team focused solely on detecting and banning cheaters

I just dont beleive it =P

It's a retrofuturistic version based on a model home of the future from a mid-20th Century World Fair.

No admins (or seemingly the ability to have scripts running to kick people if they violate rules) for the PC version is still a bad idea. That's THE main reason why Black Ops PC is still okay to play even now.

Woah, when did we find this out? That is a spit in the face of PC gaming that I didn't expect from Treyarch. Now I fear hackers ruining it.

The real question is why are they not allowing people to run servers? They would rather pay for every server in the world themselves instead of letting community run servers flourish? Is this being done with the misguided notion that they will be able to block hackers?

My experiences with admins was them banning people for not crouching or sometimes for jumping.

I encountered maybe 5 hackers in 200+ hours of play.

I preordered my copy from Gamestop today, and they printed out a code on the receipt which I have to redeem at some website. Now I don't buy things from Gamestop very often so I'm no expert, but it seems to me that if Treyarch was going to put the Nuketown codes in the box then there wouldn't be a need to have receipt codes and websites. I can't imagine there being special, no code versions specifically for Gamestop either.

But like I said, I don't buy from Gamestop very often so maybe I'm missing something here.

Microsoft has exclusive rights to all events, press and general demonstrations of CoD titles. As such, the first footage of the PS3 version will be from folks who get early copies of the game and put their captures online - it's been this way since MW2.

Every CoD title to date has looked and performed better on 360 and it's really no surprise why. MW3 on PS3 wasn't too much different from the 360 version, but Black Ops on PS3 was an absolute travesty. This article from digital foundry offers some hope, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Please do not take what I am saying as absolute fact because I am by no means a figure of authority on this, but I am willing to bet that the code will be in the box for all day-1 packages. There is no way they're dealing with that crap on a retail to retail level.

So if I don't preorder I won't get stuck with Nuketown games? Quite an incentive not to preorder for me :D

edit: shit kept reading that link and apparently its a code within "launch" copies, I guess I can just toss the code and not have access to it :D
