I honestly feel that neither GT5, Ico/SoTC, or journey should be in this game.
GT5 because its a racing simulation. Maybe add it in somewhere as a mini game or have cameos, but the only rep from Ico/SotC or journey/flow/flower would be a stage rather than actual characters. Seems like they would kinda lose their purpose that the devs wanted if they add them to some random tournament.
I would really love a WipEout stage like Fzero on brawl and an SotC meets journey/flower/flow stage.
How am i going to fight her if i want to protect her?

Yeah, I'm just saying people should probably stop being surprised when they do show up, because Sony's not just going to ignore these characters from pretty big franchises. There is a ton of variety in the game (evidenced by the fact that pretty much every "realistic" character is counterbalanced by a cartoony character), but these are still characters that should be in the game and don't need to be given shit just because they happen to use a gun - like Drake and Emmett they still have a lot of potential for cool and unique moves. Superbot's doing a really good job with that instead of making them all generic aim and shoot characters.

Not trying to sound like I'm attacking your choice, but what would Ezio bring new to the table, as apposed to someone like Geralt of Rivia, who could possibly have three different play styles, because of his swords and magic?.

Well I'm pretty sure Geralt won't be coming due to his exclusive console appearance being on 360.
Ezio will definitely make it an immediate buy for a lot of customers though. Would be a good business strategy, versus a character with a good moveset. To be honest, he doesn't have too many moves that can be used as "epic" supers.

Ezio has a sword, hidden blades, hookblades, a gun, a crossbow, bombs, fists, parachute, poison darts, assassin ally strikers, the apple of Eden, I could go on.

Rumors say that Witcher 3 might be coming to PS4, if it gets announced at any point early next year, then there might be a 1% possibility of Geralt being chosen to be in the game because of advertising.
Quen is overpowered for a reason (I think)
If that's the case, He might have more potential then I originally thought.

Haha, people were pissed enough about Big Daddy, I'm pretty sure there'd be some murder-suicides as a result of The Witcher being in the game.

I think Prinny is much more propable since Disagea guys actually have apparently said they'd love a character in this. Up to Superbot I guess.

Emmett Graves is basically from a Space Western the universe itself adds something to the game(music, themes, potential stage crossover) let alone the character with the potential of his move set. Don't get the hate but I guess there are other characters people want to see.
Anyways Kiryu and Rudy would be nice don't think I have my Team Kiryu avatar anymore though lol.
It would be so cool seeing a Rudy vs Emmett rivalry come to think of it because they are both from Western themed games.

Its not just ezio though. Yeah, it would seal off a purchase for the AC fans, but a rep from persona would have sealed off a purchase for Atlus fans, or a rep from final fantasy would have brought together some final fantasy fans.
Theres way too many fanbases on Playstation and most of us stand divided within our own little thing. To get them all into one game is alot of work, I hope they can manage to put in a few jrpg characters soon though.

Oh please, the minute Big Daddy and Dino got into the game should of told everyone that roster space isn't exclusively for characters who have extreme relevance in the Playstation brand, though I'm sure it does increase chances of being chosen.
Also if croteam successfully ports BFE to PS3, then Serious Sam would be awesome for an Indie rep.

Ok so maybe the previously mentioned theory of these are NOT the only free dlc characters we are getting might be true.

I still think it's pretty likely that they're offering these two for free (limited time) because there are third party DLC characters that they're also working on right now that will cost money from the start.
And yeah, re: Dusty...Kat can't use her powers without him around so they probably won't make him a minion, if they don't have him following her around on screen at all times, he'll at least make an appearance in her Supers.

As I said before Seth has already commented that DLC characters get the same stuff as on disc ones so expect minions, challenges, costumes and all the other minor unlockables. The ranking system wouldn't make sense anyway if they didn't have the same content.

Yeah I expect Ryu to be paid dlc. Who else third party wise? I rather not think of spyro/crash (I know Omar has said crash will be free if he ever makes it).
Ezio would be my guess. Would be hilarious if we see a mass effect rep in the game!

I can see rival between Ryu and Kat, but it will be tough to predict with Emmett's rival. I bet my money on Assassin's Creed representation.
I hope that they would reconsidered to add minions, challenges and costumes. I want two alt. costumes for Kat.

I would actually like a anime/manga rep. If you think about it PS3 has been the ultimate console for such games. Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, Fist of the North star, and Saint Seiiya. And last gen games like DBZ and Samurai Champloo.

BTW I think these two along with anything else are the reason for japanese versions delay so they'd be on disc there so hoping for january release.

Lightning and Ezio/Connor, probably.
hehe my argument against that has always been that, it's not like we are gonna see a similar game from xbox anytime soon. So I rather play as those characters now in this game. Besides with the vita getting NG games I think his presence in PS is pretty big now.
