I know most people usually give up when they are tasked with optimizing/building their own card decks, which is mostly absent here since you only unlock and add to your existing stack of cards and dont get punished for it too harshly.

I'm going to Europe for a month in January: do I bring my Vita or not? Of course I'm not going to have time for it while I"m actually there, but it'd be nice to have during the flight there and back. I am worried about it breaking, however...

As stated before here a bit back I can also confirm that ZANAC x ZANAC works on vita if you transfer it from a PS3.
Also the game is way more fun than I expected so big thanks to the people who raved about it on gaf that caused me to buy it yesterday.

It's not a beef per se, more like a "well, I never got into physical card games" thing.
Actually building and optimizing would probably be the most interesting thing to me. Plus it has Elena cards. I'm going to assume all Elena cards win at everything.

Yeah, its missing the deck management aspect a bit. You can still finetune stuff as you can tell which faction cards to use or not use. But the fortune and resource cards are hardlocked. If you have a remote interest in card games, its definitely worth a buy though for $5. Its a well done Vita card game with dozens of hours of SP gameplay plus well integrated MP features... I mean... BUY IT.
I'd gift out a few copies if I could actually. Annoys me to no end that PSN still doesnt allow gifting.
It's tempting, mostly because I love Uncharted. However if I were to buy it, it'd mean I'd want to finish U:GA.. and that means less Persona 4.

For the SP you dont need to finish UC and if you want some MP matches, I came up with a tiered system that would allow you to play against others on the same "unlock" level. See post 2 of the Uncarded OT.
That way people dont necessarily NEED to play/play through Uncharted to get MP (and SP of course too) enjoyment out of Uncarded.

Why wouldn't you? I did last summer and just kept it in my front backpack pocket naked. Just make sure to buy a backup battery, as many flights don't have power/power that works.
Also, I only went digital which made for one less thing to worry about.
Sup vita bros. Got my white vita yesterday, updated firmware, put the Chrono trigger theme from the OP on there. got my free PS+ and put in my code for all star rumble (didn't download it). I did Downloaded FF tactics (slowdown is not bothering me at all), and I played some Assassin's Creed.
First impressions/thoughts/comments are:
I need a bigger memory card.
It's a cool piece of kit.
My left hand fell asleep while playing.
I don't know how I feel about Assassin's Creed...

I'm just paranoid because I'll be dropping 90-fucking-dollars today on a memory card. Let's hope the Sony travel case is sufficient protection.
And Virgin has outlets on the plane, so that'll be quite wonderful.
I still don't understand how people are cramping up while playing, I should take a shot of how I hold my Vita for my other Vitabros so we stop having injuries.
About AC3: Lib, push through the first few tutorial levels and you'll start getting why I call this game the second best AC game... if not for the glitches.
I ordered Hori Grips to help with the terrible ergonomics of the system. It just sucks they are back ordered. I tried the PDP grips at best buy and the difference was night and day in comfort. Just to many bad reviews of the PDP grip triggers.
Imo if true this needs a tread(not necessarily for celebrating vita, but for the news itself at least)

which one was that? I heard sometimes depend on your hands size (like Nyko power grip for people with big hands,PDP trigger grip for the small hands).
If you somewhat like Shmups, Sine Mora. Easy decision. Awesome looking, fun and challenging shmup with lots of content. The FPS dips are a bit annoying but not necessarily game breaking (I've beaten the main game on the hardest setting). No clue what you mean with d-pad stuff.

Yes, if they bundle a game with the 32gb maybe I won't feel so shitty about shelling out for one.
MSRP for 8GB is 34, 16GB is 49. Don't know how that compares to the ones without a game.

I used to get bad cramping but it stopped after a while for some reason. I think it might have something to with having a more loose grip. In some games I will catch myself holding the controls very firm not unlike when I grit my teeth sometimes when playing multiplayer games online then get a headache within a few hours. Same thing with the hands hurting.
If your hands are beyond a certain size they can't be as at rest which could explain the difference in fatigue and why grips help but changing how tense you are when playing could also help.

vs pack-in (49,99€, but yeah. Not much of a saving.hmm, i see. and quite bummer they pulled it from the psn store. Was hoping of getting it early and not having to wait 2 more days.
Now, i'm not sure if the frame dips are game breaking or not, guess i'll won't buy it on lauch date and i'll wait for some reviews or comments from SUMO.
