S-E has partnered with Yahoo Japan on several browser games in the past. Some of them are even pretty good. Not that anyone here would be interested in them, since they're in Japanese, require you to play with Japanese players, and need a Japanese Yahoo account.

It's not SO related. Earier in the thread someone posted tweets from the SO producer saying the countdown wasn't for Star Ocean but people ignored that post anyway.

If you go into game systems at the top, you can see screens. Yeah, defiantly looks iOS, and ugly at that. Pass. Never change SE!

If you didn't expect Star Galaxy despite numerous posters in this thread mentioning that they trademarked Star Galaxy, I dunno what to say.

I expected something just a little more than a flash-based browser game.

Aww when I saw the title "Star Galaxy" and windows systems thought this would be a spin off game of Star Ocean series as a f2p game for PC, with the game being similar to PSO2 but with Star Ocean combat.

That's actually the real worst thing, until the card reveal this STILL looked like it might've been interesting (and it may still be a good card game, but I was kinda hoping it would've been more of a sim thing), but it doesn't matter anyway since most of us will never have access to it or at least be able to understand it.
