Well, there was a shot of the city that reminded me of Lost Odyssey but yeah, those wall textures are pretty lol.

Depends on who you ask. Many people dislike it but XIII does have it's fans as well.

I personally loved XIII.

However I thought XIII-2 outside of few small Gameplay improvements was a steaming pile of trash and this looks even worse.

So this looks more like XIII's combat system then what was originally implied. It is too bad they make this a solo game. That's not exactly how you inject some complexity into your battle system.

The city part of the trailer was the most disappointing thing about it. It looks low quality/flat. Though it's an early trailer, so I am hopeful they'll fix/improve that, since the city is a pretty important part of the game, one would expect.

I'm just not quick to judge is all. I've tended to have fun with the finished products, and don't see a real reason to write something off before I actually play it.

Call me optimistic, but I like to think that all games will be good before they come out. It's only after i've finished that I start really shit-talking/praising something with actual conviction.
