I'm using SweetFX here, but the only effect active is the DPX shader (though admittedly with some extreme settings - hey, it's my taste). I know I'm kinda late to the party here, but MY GOODNESS this game is GORGEOUS. I am constantly in awe of the visuals.

If this is what next gen is supposed to look like, I will be a happy gamer, indeed!

How about a rule where you can post more than 2 shots as long as you quote tag them to keep them small and not obnoxious. Maximum of 6 in a post.

My point was that it's the lesser of two evils versus spamming 6 large images in a row (which i'm guilty of, but not sorry for!).

Besides, it's easy to drag and drop an image to a new window if you are so inclined, and it's much more attractive than fugly thumbnails. Makes for a pretty gallery.

I suppose YMMV depending on your resolution though (i'm on 1080p).

With quote tags the full size image still needs to be loaded, which can slow everything down a lot.

The game still looks like ass, but this is a huge improvement over the default game which looks like this:



The PC version is inexplicably missing most of the bloom and HDR lighting found in the console version..

I'm pretty sure the PC version looked better than that for me when I played it.

Mostly depends on the settings and mods you use. If you don't overdo grass and don't go over a gridtoload = 5, you'll be fine.
