Apparently Ghost Recon Shadow Wars is listed on the NA eShop as getting a digital release next week? Anyone wanna confirm/deny?

Watch Da Birdie

I buy cakes for myself on my birthday it's not weird lots of people do it I bet
Maybe it's Mighty the Armadillo, and a port of SegaSonic the Hedgehog where you use the Wii U tablet controller as a virtual track-ball?

Anyone knows what happened to this?

Is there a link to this?

You can't, but you can setup a seperate NNID on the same machine and buy stuff off that account and switch regions.

thats what i did on the ps3 when the walking dead wasn't released here (in Aus). It was worth it!. Had to buy an american point card off ebay though, the psn shop wont take aus credit cards

Yep, it's got a release date of 1/24 on the eShop.
Hmm, I'll be interested on what the price is for it, if it comes out for $20 I'll take the plunge, I've had it since just after the 3DS launch but not really played it and wouldn't mind having it always on the system to play when I'm in the mood for it.

So, next week, we have Rune Factory 4 and Extroopers as 3DS DL for the japanese 3DS.
Unfortunately, their price is too high (5200-5300 yen). I'd buy them if the price was, like, 3000 yen.

Gunman Clive is 2nd on the PL Recent Bestsellers list. The only thing ahead of it is Pokemon Dream Radar.

Finally beat Mutant Mudds' Grannie levels today. Difficult enough to keep you entertained for a bunch of hours repeating levels, never frustrating and without ridiculous difficulty spikes. Even if it's quite pricy I think it's been a good investment.

Virtual hat tipped to you sir.

Great game. Although I'm not rinsing it but rather taking my time. ( 20 mins here or there ) I find it just the right balance of difficulty.
My son who is 8 struggles with this game a lot.
For seasoned platform players its great.

Two copies sold? That's not a bomb guys, stop trolling!!!
So, the DD version of Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars is coming before the iOS version. LOL.

It's been out in... one of the Asian countries (Korea, IIRC) for a while now. Nintendo let Ubisoft and some other publishers stick a bunch of retail games on the eShop without localising 'em or anything.

RE: Shadow Wars iOS, someone asked Julian Gollop about it on Twitter and his response was "last I heard they were trying to remake it as a freemium/IAP game" or something.

A _very_ decent SRPG - don't miss it out this time around, gaf.

Sonic demo available in the European eShop

Woot! Thanks :).

Oh and Majora's Mask on Wii VC is pretty damn awesome by the way. The frame rate takes some acclimatising to and using the CCPro as a stand in for the N64 controller does too but it's well worth it. I need some Zelda goodness to clear the sour taste that Skyward Sword ultimately left me with :/.

NINTENDO DOWNLOAD HIGHLIGHTS NEW DIGITAL CONTENT FOR NINTENDO SYSTEMS - JAN. 17, 2013

This week's Nintendo Download includes the following featured content:

Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS

Fire Emblem Awakening - Demo Version – Lead an army of knights, mages, archers and other classes into battle to defend a fantasy world teetering on the brink of war. Your army, which grows as the game's epic story progresses, is composed of a brave group of memorable characters with unique abilities. Just plan your attacks carefully – the lives of your soldiers and the future of the world depend on it. The full version of Fire Emblem Awakening launches exclusively on Nintendo 3DS on Feb. 4.

Tokyo Crash Mobs – You need fast reflexes and an eye for strategy to succeed in this puzzle game. In Tokyo Crash Mobs, you must toss bystanders into lines of people, grouping three or more who wear the same color to make them disappear. Eliminate the lines as fast as you can to win. With two modes, this game has you covered, whether you're looking for quick play sessions or endurance challenges.

Kirby's Star Stacker – Join Kirby as he stacks falling stars with help from his friends Rick the Hamster, Kine the Sunfish and Coo the Owl. But watch out for King Dedede, as he will try to stop you. With a few quick moves and some well-timed strategy, you can quickly outwit him and move on to the next challenging level. Kirby's Star Stacker was originally released for Game Boy in 1997.

Wii Shop Channel on Wii
Amazon Instant Video – Watch new release movies and in-season TV episodes, plus thousands of videos available to Amazon Prime members at no additional cost.

Also new this week:

Tokyo Crash Mobs looks hideous, why not just get Mitchell to make a new Puzzloop title?

Toky Crash Mobs is a Mitchell game. They fixed Puzzloop. Buy it. Buy it. Buy it. Buy it. Buy it. Buy it. Buy it. Buy it. Buy it. Buy it. Buy it. Buy it.

Tokyo Crash Mobs is Puzzloop in all but name. It plays exactly the same, but with goofier graphics that presumably are meant to help it stand out from all the shameless Puzzloop rip-offs out there.

So pumped for Fire Emblem demo. I don't think I've been this hyped for an RPG since Persona 4: Golden was announced. Is it up already? The PR is up so one would assume the demo would also be up.

Tokyo Crash Mobs is $5.99 by the way. I guess that's not terrible.

I'm really torn about it. It straddles that fine line between too ridiculous to buy, and so ridiculous that I just have to buy it.

PS: For those asking, the eShop should update in 2 hours

Bloody Vampire is like a cutesy Castlevania, right?

I don't know much about it other than a few gameplay videos I've seen, but apparently it's a Metroidvania, you attack enemies by running into them a la Ys, and spellcasting plays a big role. I could be completely wrong on all three points though.
