You're constantly fighting random battles, you have to hoof it back to Victor's to do fusion...and demons that can cast magic will spam it until they run out of MP, forcing you to either pay a ridiculous sum to Nakisawame or hoof it back to Victor's for healing.

No, it really isn't. SMT games don't typically require you to grind up one ally at a time just so you can use it in fusion.

I'm kidding! I've probably played an Intelligent Systems game, even (Just not Fire Emblem)! Did they do Advance Wars? That sounds right.

Anyway, I'm not a fan of their musicians or artists (I'm not not a fan, mind), whereas I'm a huge fan of MegaTen art and music. The reason I'm so hyped is because in my mind at the moment, it's a game created by these developers that I love. If they aren't involved, then my interest drops to near zero.

I'm stunned you haven't played an FE game. They are very, VERY good.

Eh, I've never even played the FE series so I really shouldn't judge, and my only real experience with the SMT series is Nocturne and P3/P4. Thinking of those style of games as a SRPG though is a little odd.

Eh, I've never even played the FE series so I really shouldn't judge, and my only real experience with the SMT series is Nocturne and P3/P4. Thinking of those style of games as a SRPG though is a little odd.

Take a look at Devil Survivor on the DS, the games mix SRPG games with RPG battle systems and even include fusions and a compendium.

It wasnt a surprise collab for P5, it was just to look out for a surprise collab. This was probably it.
