Haha, it's okay, I just picked up the game and started learning less than a month ago.

Your green knight will turn into an Ancient Dragon Knight ("ADK" , dragon type) and its leader ability is 2.5x damage for all other dragons on your team. Paired with someone elses you can imagine the damage your all dragon team will do. Your dark knight will also turn into a dragon type to go on your team, and you'll have plenty of green/dark orb changers.

So eventually I wanna phase out my Fire monsters for dark ones? I have convinced myself to purchase 12 stones, but I am waiting for an opportune time to do it.

You don't have to phase out anything, you want multiple colored teams for specific dungeons anyway since each color is strong against and weak against another color. Light and dark monsters are good filler/other half for your team since they're neutral and dark monsters are easy to find and build up. Fire/dark goes together well too and is probably the easiest team for someone to start building.

Naga and Drall are great monsters as well.

I might swap in my MDK for the MSK that way I have the Dark. At least until I can get some more gachas. I wish I could justify buying more stones.

We are. Thanks for the help. Unfortunately for the second time today I accidentally wiped the first wave by clearing some unnecessary blocks and having a fire match drop and then running into a Strong on my second round. Didn't charge Shiva in time :(

Exact same thing happened to me too, fml. Hate accidental combos that end up with the 1 colour i run with being matched up -.-

I just started today and this game is rather addicting. I did accidentally use a magic stone to replenish stamina when I wasn't paying attention though. Haven't gotten and top tier monsters from the capsule machine and not sure what kind of team I want in the end.

It's not completely necessary but if I were you I might think about re-rolling. You can get back to where you are fairly quickly, and in the end unless you're a paying customers you will cherish every pull you get on the rare egg machine. So re-rolling until you get a guaranteed winner is sometimes a good idea. Unfortunately it can be time consuming (not to mention boring) so up to you.

The monster you got (Berserk, which evolves into Siegfried the Blue Champion) isn't terrible, but he isn't great either, and there are some monsters that are extremely helpful (some would say necessary) in a large number of group cofigurations

Edit; I somehow missed that you have Siren, so actually maybe you're good :p

Just did the metal dragon dungeon and finished evolving to 5* Chaos Devil Dragon. Only 'lil dragon left for me to take to 5* is the holy dragon, blue is ready just needs a keeper. Close!

Thanks very much for the advice. I think I will re-roll till I get something worthwhile and like you said, it won't take too long to get back where I am.

Well I just killed Hades in Tomb of the Saint - Expert. All I have to say is jesus christ. Took 45 minutes. My resolve team is mostly weak because I typically ony use it for wednesday / friday dungeon, but this time you need a resolve team that still has high HP and strong attack to survive the earlier rounds. Well too bad, so I brought my shitty resolve team and put the best attackers I had in. But with no +damage leader skill I was barely scratching the boss.

At least it was impossible for me to die on the boss, but the Basilisks were another story. Barely squeaked by there.

Mystic Knight and Siren are a decent start. Having the core healer in your box is always a nice start. Just keep saving those stones on the early runs.

To give you an idea, I've done over 60 mermaid runs trying to get the siren and still haven't seen one drop. She's a great piece to build around so you aren't reliant on your friend list for healers.

The bright side is, I have a Lakshmi with a plus sign on re-roll now so I guess it works out.

is the only way to beat hades to bring a chaos dragon leader for 1/2 dark damage and an odin friend? im not sure I can tackle hades until I level my dark dragon if thats the case.

thought about 3 gatekeepers and naga for delay, but i think that only buys me 17 turns where i would need 20 to get guardian skill back. and I would still need to heal about 9 thousand hp between turns or something like that.

You could skill your guardians up, but that's prob a waste of time may as well level your black ragon up or use one from Friend.

I only got by that battle with a holy dragon nuke. It allowed me to KO one of them quickly and only have to deal with two.

I used odin/chaos dragon.

Damn now I have to decide on what I want to do. I was hoping for dark. These color ones always get me though! I still need some stuff from tech dungeons!

I have $26 in credit on my iTunes account, but I keep getting an error when I try to buy Magic Stones :/ I contacted iTunes support several days ago, but still haven't heard anything... This sucks

Man I am working towards evolving my Ammy. I still have zero(!) evo mats I need. I was thinking of hunting the blue tech area to try and get the rainbow ghosts if I can.

Hopefully I can get two (!) light keepers on Tuesday.

Then the gold mask ..... no idea where to get that outside of mask day

What are you guys doing with the extra starter dragon drops?

I have an extra 5 fire starters and hand no clue what to do with them. They're taking up valuable space. Take too much resources for me to level them up to the right skills to skill up my main red starter.

Should I just sell them?

Too bad some of them can't be little red dragons.

I sold mine because they seem really easy to get from certain dungeons, not like you're gonna never have the opportunity to farm them again (I ended up with at least half a dozen fire and water starters each from the mech dungeons, kept one of each since I started as green). Plus there are far more important things to do than skill up starters for a looong time.

Skydragons drop lil dragons, Mechdragons drop starters - so when black mechdragon rolls around, farm it there.

I'm not actually sure what the Chaos dragons drop. Check the jp/chn wiki.
