oh man, that Bowser really sucks at the game :S

anyways S&S transformed looks great, haven't played it myselft anyways I don't know what do you want to probe but if you want to compare MK Wii to a sonic racing game you should use footage from the first one and in my opinion the only thing that the sonic game had over the mario game were the HD graphics.

I'll reserve my judment for transformed for the day that MK WiiU gets released

Killzone gifs is the best thing someone could randomly start posting in this thread. If you did that ironically, I love you.

and how about naughty dog? because The Last of Us is not a quantic dream game.

1. Its about the Wii U, not Wii.

2. PS3 apparently couldn't run this game either.

BOOYA!

the second the WiiU runs that game or anything remotely in the same ballpark by Bethesda, you might have a point. As it is, the Wii U is struggling to run Ninja Gaiden 3, let alone skyrim. BOOYA!.

that game is an example of Bethesda making terrible PS3 ports and not much else.

how many other games can you name that run at zero FPS on the PS3? Anything? Anything at all?

First post, etc.

Funny how most people quoting this, only say "lol no".

Let me spell it out for you.

With a Wii and the entire Nintendo library in front of me I probably couldn't even pick 5 titles that would be worth the effort for me to get off the couch and put a disk in the machine. With either the XBox of PS I could easily spend an entire afternoon bouncing between different titles seeing what I'm missing. Of course then I'd throw them all in the closet as supporting such closed platforms is utterly stupid in the first place.

As a person who enjoys good Nintendo and Sony products when my wallet allows, I'm only really amused by this "bitch slap" marketing endeavor. It's a little childish, and as many people have already said, a little factually unfair, but watching people react should be funny.

I think there are more people in this thread noting their reaction to the supposed heated rage taking place in this thread than the actual heated rage taking place in this thread.

Are we reading the same thread? The amount of emotional distraught and passive aggressive posters is sky high.

I just sent Iwata an e-mail giving some helpful advice:

Iwata-san, you let a man slide today, you must immediately get inside somebody's ass when that happens to you. You pull the asshole open, step into the asshole, close the door behind you. Then you take a spray can right, spray Nintendo was here, wash me all that shit, fuck his whole asshole up. Get a blue shell, banana peels, throw that on the floor, fuck his whole asshole up. Then you open up that asshole one more time, step out his ass, then leave that bitch wide open so Kaz know you've been there.

Yours truly,
Your biggest fan

Nah, I'm blessed with great skin at the age of 21.

Honestly though, Nintendo is like the Vince McMahon of gaming because they're out of touch. They need to stop being family friendly and actually try to be ruthless like Eazy-E.

Not many people are falling for their old gaming scheme. The people that purchased a Wii won't buy a Wii-U because they're looking at it as just a Wii with a different controller.

If Nintendo catered to everyone like HHH(Sony), then you would see more sales.

Microsoft is still gritty, but they're about to be in the same position Nintendo is in now.

I'm going to be honest and say I hated Killzone 1, thought 2 was decent and 3 was good but I never finished it. Never touched the PSP one, so from a personal standpoint - it's a sucky example. I'm merely going by franchises in the original list.
God of War and Uncharted on the other hand are excellent, especially God of War.

This is basically what I feel like, too, about those franchises. But my point is that if Sony could make God of War Tennis or Uncharted Golf, they absolutely would. But they would never sell and I can't really see how they add anything substantial to either genre (Mario items and courses make games like golf and tennis significantly more enjoyable). I think one of the key differences is that the Mario franchise - because of its cartoonish nature - has adaptability that other franchises like Uncharted and God of War don't have. Mario makes golf and tennis fun - I wouldn't find them interesting at all if Nintendo made new IPs just for the purpose of party and sports games.

I enjoy Nintendo's stuff. I still have my N64 set up in my room. I'm not the sort of person - a fanboy or whatever - who binds themselves only to one company. I enjoy playing a variety of stuff from a range of companies. I'm just saying Nintendo's first party offerings have been weak at best lately, aside from Zelda - maybe. Sony have been incredible with their first party.

Well, I agree and disagree here. The end of the Wii's life cycle was pretty terrible apart from Kirby, Skyward Sword, and Xenoblade, but as a whole the Wii had some phenomenal first-party titles. Games like Xenoblade and The Wonderful 101 (and Nintendo's new eShop content), I think, show that Nintendo is dedicated to new IP. And then there's games like Pikmin 3 which is certainly not a "casual" game.

The God of War franchise sfarted how many years ago...8? And we have had 3 main entries with a fourth soon, two PSP releases, three compilations, and a mobile title. Silly Sony.
