Excited for both the single & multiplayer content. Will miss out day one probably since the wife is scheduled to have our second kid the day before.

Expecting all the cast can be romanced now.

Even those that are previously exclusive to a particular Shepard's gender will be made available to both genders.

Ashley-FemShep, yeah. Miranda-FemShep, oh yeah. Tali-FemShep, oh yeaahhhh. Garrus-MShep, oh yeahhhhhhhh (in before the screenshot with Shepard and Garrus on a bed together)

The reasoning given will be in line with what Kaidan says to MShep on ME3.

Would pay $100 for an expansion where you could play the Illusive Man's story.

I dont think that would be a DLC, would have to be like a standalone game. Although it'd prolly be boring, since all he did was seemingly yell at people and throw money around.

The ultimate fan bait dlc. Which makes sense I guess, since they're the only ones who are going to be buying it.

We know we really gave a ton of characters the shaft, but hey if you pay $15 a year after the game comes out we'll give you some hot clothes on sex action with them!

Seems like whatever Bioware do, people always complain.

Release a DLC focused on combat(Omega)? People whine.
Release a DLC focused on characters(Citadel)? People whine.
Release a DLC focused on lore(Leviathan)? People whine.

Bioware just can't do anything to please everyone. The only thing that could is making the DLCs free, and we all know it's impossible, unless EA suddenly likes losing money.

I posted a thread on the Bioware forums about the lack of DLC on the Wii U. As gamers, we should be against this sort of thing and even though I have the PC version, I feel like they're really screwing over Wii U owners. It's just wrong to me for some reason.

Either way, if you want to make a comment about it, maybe you can post in the thread. Perhaps Bioware will do something...maybe they won't, but at least they'll know people aren't happy about it.

I meant to say, Have any of those packs (Leviathan and Omega) ever been sold at a discounted price?

Nope. Maybe sometime in the far future, like ME2's DLC.

And if this DLC is "fan bait" or "fan pandering" then I'm in 100%. Omega was awful, but Leviathan was decent. DLC for ME3's single player has been severely lacking compared to ME2's.

Just like no matter what they do they will always have apologists.

edit - lore?

there's not enough MJ laughing gifs to reply to that.

Awesome. Been waiting for them to finish with the DLC so I could give it a second go. Haven't played the game since I finished it launch week. Time to buy all the DLC and check out that Extended Ending or whatever.

Very excited. One last romance scene with my masked vixen. :)

I'm tempted on re-starting ME3 and finally do that Insanity run I've been putting off. The thought of fighting all those Brutes and Banshees on Insanity at the last level though... essh.

He's just as excited as we are! Couldn't help it; he looks like someone's jammed Zim's brain nut into his skull. He's just so happy!

As good as this looks, I think I'm about done with Mass Effect as a whole. The second game's the only one I enjoyed from beginning to end.

Passed on Omega (Might get it if its on sale) but this has my interest. The Citadel has always been my favourite location in the franchise, loved just exploring it in ME1. Also was that EDI in the background of the Multiplayer pic?

Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?
So between all the DLC content released so far..

From Ashes = 600mb
Leviathan & Omega = 2GB each
Citadel = 4GB

that's more content than a 360 disc.

Man, first they release a mediocre game that reduces a lot of its characters to cameos, and people complain. Then they release $15 DLC a year later to try and sorta address that issue and people still criticize.

What the fuck does BioWare have to do, release a good game on its first attempt or something else unreasonable?
If I can play all of this stuff wrapped in a complete disc package 2 years from now, I might give all of it a go, otherwise I have to agree with EmCeeGramr.

Now each time they release something, I ask myself, what exactly is this doing for the game at hand, for the series or the fiction of the entire universe these games have been set in to further advance it? It seems like a bunch of wanking off to a small subset of fans that just want more fanservice stuff but not really addressing any of the problem/issues that the main Mass Effect 3 game originally had. Bioware is aware they screwed Mass Effect 3 up pretty bad, right?

Can't believe I missed this, hehe.

"playing" dumb? unpossible
Can I play this DLC as a post game add on, or am I stuck having to revert to an older save, playing through the DLC, all to realise it means shit all in the end?

It takes place after the
Citadel coup.

Yeah why haven't they released a free DLC that corrected the ending?! oh wait they did.

People who were lauding Shadow Broker are all "wah wah Bioware didn't release a finished game" now.

ME3 is a good game even without the DLC, but there's nothing wrong with a last mission of fanservice for the last DLC.

Best RPG of the year and top ten haters.

This should be post-game DLC. Just make Destroy the canon ending, have a scene with people finding Shepard and then this DLC. But nope, the ending is Bioware's precious artistic baby so that cant be touched in any meaningful way.

They already released a new version of the ending.

Why do people want post game DLC?

I remember people complaining New Vegas DLC wasn't post game as well.

I'm waiting for the DLC where you play as the british guy from the trailer that you meet up with near the end. I can imagine it being pretty good as you actually are on Earth fighting the good fight while Shepard is apparently on the citadel partying it up wasting fuckin time.

Because 1 and 2 had post game DLC? It's not that hard to see how people may want to get a good ending out of the game for once.

I think it's because people want content that's set after the ending, cause even after they finish this DLC, the game's ending is still the same ( ? )

I personally don't mind it, especially since the content they've put out so far, like Leviathan, is meant to be placed somewhere between the story as a giant info dump.

Besides the ending, which they later adressed, it was a fantastic game. It had more companion dialogue than the previous two games, and while i agree that some of the ex-companions had too little content, all of them still got one full mission dedicated to them as well as appearances on the citadel after. Dont forget that ME3 has 8 companions with a lot of content, and those saying "ALL OF THEM SHOULD HAVE RETURNED AS SQUAD MAETS LOL"are delusional. Considering whats going on in the game with the reaper war, id say its still pretty good in the scheme of things. It was a game that had a lot content, they crammed everything they could into it given the time frame. For most people its a 20+ hours game, for me it was nearing 30, wanting to see everything.

Im not sure what you are expecting, but this is far more content than the average SP campaign. They listened to fans and adjusted the ending, and now they are listening to fans in regards to more companion content. I cant possibly see how your critique is justified unless you mean to criticise the entire concept of DLC, because if THIS falls under something that should have been in the main game, then 95% of all other games with dlc deserve even harsher criticism.

I haven't given EA a penny since the ending debacle.

That might be tested if this did something with Morinth, given how stupid writing her out off screen was. But there's a total lack of information on it.
