Hopefully no multiplayer achievements/trophies.

I haven't gotten any of the single player DLC yet (except for From Ashes, which came with my limited edition). Have any of the ME3 packs gone on sale?

Rented the game initially and sent it back in after beating it. Will be looking forward to the GOTY edition with all the DLC included one of these days.

Bioware points (I'm on PC) need to go on sale or they need to reduce the price of the other DLC. I don't have Leviathan yet, and I would get Omega at a reduced price (and Arrival from ME2 for that matter).

I mostly enjoyed ME3. It had the series lows, but also some great highs and it hit the emotional spot for me. I very much so look forward to seeing my squadmates one more time. I enjoyed the multiplayer as well and am glad to see that still supported.

Will this be the last DLC?

I've bought all the other ones, and I'll buy this one also, but i'm waiting for my actual replay of the game until all the DLC is out.

It's great to know that Zaeed's VA will be his original one, but it will still feel weird when i'll hear him talk in this DLC, knowing the VA died only a few weeks(months?) later.

What do they mean when they say "fight alongside your squad – as well as the cast from the original Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2, including Urdnot Wrex!"

I seriously doubt we will be able to fight with Wrex and all the ME2 crew, on top of the ME3 one. Talk with them maybe, but fight with them during combat? It will be nice, I wanted to fight with Wrex since ME1. If we can do that, that means i'm going to do a lot of replays on that DLC, just to see what everyone has to say.

The multiplayer DLC doesn't mention any new maps? :(

Read this thread and yes people cares.
How and why? Is the DLC completely different? SP was just fetch quests and turret sequences. I can't imagine them changing their design philosophy. Gotta keep dat artistic integrity and all

Awesome!
Free MP DLC is almost unheard of these days!

And the single player mission sounds cool. Damn I need to get Omega as well.
?
ME3 has had 3-4 MP DLC and all were free

Finally. I can now purchase what remains to be purchased and start my insanity play through. Should be interesting as I haven't even fired up the alternative ending nonsense so I'm kinda excited about it? Kinda.

Please be good :(

Just Fetch quests and turret sequences? That isn't close to being true.

Well, to be honest, most missions were just "Kill bad guys and reach your destination = Victory!".

Only a few sidequests happening on the Citadel were the exception.

Still didn't stop me from liking the game and buying all the SP DLCs though.

Nice, I was expecting this announcement today. I love the continued support for the multi, really glad they did it for a year, it's been a lot of fun. Hopefully the other sp dlc goes on sale to celebrate the one year anniversary of release so I can finally pouch them up.

My bad, I left out the setpieces. Which were good, but this game seriously lacked in gameplay. No meaningful quests, main or side.

What do you mean "no meaningful quests"?
Curing or sabotaging the Genophage, stopping the Geths & Quarians war, attacking the Cerberus's base, nuking the Ardhat Yakshi monastery and letting Samara killing herself or not, saving kids from a Biotic school,
etc. weren't meaningful? Sure, what you did there didn't affect the ending... unless that's what you meant by not being meaningful?

Because there was plenty of gameplay during the missions. Whether or not you consider ME3 combat as gameplay is another story.

Perfect timing. I was JUST about to replay with all the DLC already out (haven't played since I finished it a week or so after release) and then I stumble across this thread.

More Miranda, more citadel, more everybody. Im very pleased, the companions were always the one trilogy's stronger points.

I believe this is being targeted as the last single player DLC, yes.

Day one for me. A shame I probably wont go through the game again seeing as I've done my max renegade/paragon runs because there is that small issue that I'll be using my end game saves where the cast is just a little bit smaller.

No, I mean you play mediator while the universe is on the brink of extinction.

How important is a
cure for genophage
if you're not going to be alive? It just doesn't make sense you're doing all this and it's just filler content.

You mean you listened to EA? I don't care what they say, ME is a singleplayer game.
HA

SP ME died with ME2, and was buried 12ft with ME3. If you want to make a shitty TPS at least put some multiplayer in it and make it worth acknowledging. If ME4 doesn't have MP or co-op I won't bother. EAware has made it obvious they aren't capable of doing a good job with SP

Man, bioware just cant win on forums like these.

One of the best thing of the Mass Effect trilogy is its characters. It's just normal to make its final DLC be about them.

But of course some people won't see it that way. Gotta hate right?

Great, I just finished my second ME-ME2-ME3 run today, incl. all DLC. Levaithan was awesome, Omega kinda meh. Looking forward to this new DLC. Despite everything, I still enjoy the franchise, so more Mass Effect is always good.

Oh, and Extended Destroy ending is best ending!

Maybe I can finally have my dream party of Wrex and Legion, and just wander the universe forever.

If we can really choose every single ME1-2-3 squad to fight with us, there's a 99.9% chance it's going to be for the duration of the DLC only. It just wouldn't work with how the main story is build right now, not to mention rewriting all the squad dialogue. And it sounds like its best played early in the game, since
Thane, Mordin(unless you did something very specific in ME1 and ME2) and Legion dies
no matter what. Guess I might have to restart a new game.

Man, first they release a mediocre game that reduces a lot of its characters to cameos, and people complain. Then they release $15 DLC a year later to try and sorta address that issue and people still criticize.

What the fuck does BioWare have to do, release a good game on its first attempt or something else unreasonable?

This March, BioWare wants you to buy back the copy of Mass Effect 3 you already traded in for a better game, and then buy this DLC. Good luck with that!

Nope didn't trade mine in and I will be buying this DLC when it's released, You would have traded it in and bitched about it no matter how it turned out.

Yeah I expected as much, even if this is like an instanced thing in the Citadel where all the homies are hanging out pre-Reaper invasion. I just miss my boys :(

entitled brats i tell ya

You're assuming I traded in this game.

There are lots of assumptions made by those that did not like ME3. The biggest one being that everyone thinks like them and did not like the game in exactly the same way. There are varying degrees to people's reactions of ME3. Which of course makes it really hard to figure out which fan feedback is worth a damn.

looking forward to read the SP DLC summary and laugh about how it provides further explanations on the main story and how it should have been included in the game

It sounds great!

Of course it's not going to change that shameful ending but new questline, more romance, more characterization, and a new hub(s?) with a casino/arena/apartment. I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully it's at least better than Omega.
