Wow, I can't believe Dieminion left BT. Why would he leave the best team in the FGC?

you know what's really fucked up, he never even told me. i found out a while ago and was just waiting for the news :/

Double wow. I just lost a lot of respect for Dieminion. Koogy is the best, how can you not tell him?

Dieminion is going to regret this move after the VxG money leaves EMP.

If you guys knew the behind the scenes stuff, you would agree 100% with @Di3mini0n's decision. Congrats man. The future is bright for you.

Probably getting backed to go to VxG all expenses paid.

Really sucks for Koogy =\ After everything he's been talking about on The Fray, it's hard to imagine someone would want to leave Brokentier at this point, and then this happens.

When (yes when not if) VXG fails, and EMP no longer has someone backing them he's going to regret it.

And this.

I wonder if it was just the EMP offer or if there was also something going down at BT Dieminion didn't like.

I wonder what the "behind the scenes" are.

I wonder what sort of crazy offer he got from emp. And why the hell would he not tell Koogy beforehand? Not a good look for Dieminion

Only explanation that would make me forgive Dieminon.

Triforce was holding Kreymore captive, and Dieminon had to go in EMP (as an undercover) to save his brother.

No doubt about VxG is going to fail. I think the tourism board of St. Maarten is putting in a lot of money into the tournament. When they see/realize that having a huge/lavish tournament outside of the States isn't viable. they are going to quickly pull out their money.

FS goes on sale next week for $5 so if you should just wait if you are interested.

I wonder if we will see another sale on KOF 98 and 2002 um, even if they aren't very expensive to begin with. :p Wouldn't mind a sale on Garou: MOTW or some shmups like Radiant Silvergun HD as well, but I'll just buy all these niche old school games full price if there's nothing by the end of the year (Rez, Ikaruga, Guardian Heroes, etc).

In times where people are trying to make this "professionalism" thing work at the FGC, some guys just can't think they can do wherever they want and it's cool.

from what i've heard, kevin was offered a large sum of money upfront + paid travel to a lot of events. i don't offer salaries for players or signing bonuses, and maybe that's just what he wanted. ultimately it's all good :3 i'll just have to work harder to be the best team in the fgc again

Koogy, you have mine, and I'm sure you have a lot of peoples' respect here. All the stuff you do for the community is great. Money (especially with EMP) will be temporary, but the respect is what matters, at least in my eyes.

I wonder if we see some more high profile players leaving their respective teams to go to the beach. A large sum of money is quite the incentive. It wouldn't surprise me.

People having short term money does not change the fact that BT is the best.

Rolando thinks he can just buy up the FGC with his island money and shady tactics, all under the guise of the laid-back, carefree, dimwit stoner that no one would ever suspect... shits gonna be crazy by EVO time.

The glorious return of the Empire begins! Time to dust off that old EMP name I have on Twitch.

I can't see anyone from AGE/EG leaving, just because they seem to be the most set with where they're at.

The tourist board will continue to put money into it as long as people keep attending VXG. Last year had 150 international players from the Caribbean alone and 2 major islands didn't attend. VXG isn't solely dependent on US players to survive, the Caribbean players view this as their event and will continue to support it.
