Eh, maybe some Invasion soon. I miss it so much.

Meanwhile, back in Halo Custom Edition: Rocket Warthog Attack.

I haven't played this game's MP in over 4 years, all the feels just came rushing back to me while I watched this. I'm going to have to find a place where I can buy a copy of this now. Amazon should have some.

edit: where can I get the Custom Edition?

Custom Edition can be found on HaloMaps.org or anywhere that hosts files, really. Filefront still has it up, I think. It's a download only expansion-ish thing from Gearbox. It's primarily multiplayer based but you can make single player missions using it.

You need a valid Combat Evolved CD Key to install and play Custom Edition, as it's super-official-legit.

Na i don't think it was an executive decision at all. If anything, it was to me a sign of how gamers are not playing games today they way they used to in the past.

This is false logic. See here. I know it's referring more as to why Halo didn't have to change and incorporate some of the elements of other FPS titles to be successful, but it's nonetheless relevant. It was not the decisions of millions of gamers who like CoD style FPS games that created the Halo 4 we see today. It was the industry and it smacks of executive, market-driven decision-making more than it does anything else.

Just got on the Halo Waypoint Xbox app and noticed that they added 3 new codes for a new Raider armor variant. Does anyone have the links to the codes?

HaloGAF Radio Episode 12 with Barrow Roll & Tawpgun.

Please post all feedback, comments and discussion in the thread linked above.

Please, please stick to your promise and your word to consolidate the Halo 3 playlists 343. It's still the best Halo on the 360 and I'm having fun but the populations of the majority of the lists are pathetic. Trim it.

I would definitely support a "caller" feature for the next podcast. Would call in a heartbeat as long as I don't get mugged by a homeless guy at Starbucks again. :lol

So there's another forge contest that started weeks ago and the deadline is a week from today. Don't remember seeing it mentioned here or on waypoint so here's the link: http://www.343industries.org/forum/...er-forge-contest-begins-tomorrow/#entry240051

4v4 Infinity Slayer maps
Because that's some community run contest. It would be similar to if Blueprint or Tashi/CyReN/Homeboyd/Nokyard/Dani decided to host a tourney here.

Damn, that blows. Have you tried unsubscribing and resubscribing?
Just tried it and it just duplicated NYCC, Bravo/Heckfu, and DemonCarnotaur episodes.

And as usual we give away something every podcast and this one actually has a really good giveaway so make sure you nerds listen.

edit: Fuck, I don't know. Maybe if you unsubscribe, delete all files and then resubscribe? I honestly don't know why that would be happening.

I don't disagree with that, but it still doesn't disprove what i said. Had they added all these new COD-ish features and not removed so many old school game-types and customization options, wed still be able to play Halo the way we wanted to cause we and 343 would be able to build those game-types. But we cant, not because of the new features that were added but because so many customization options were removed.

Hasn't there been a new Assassin's Creed every year since 2? I don't know why this is a shocker

Yep, this will be the 5th year in a row with an AC game (2, Brotherhood, Revelations, 3, 4). They do what Activision does with COD, two different development teams make games in roughly 2 years. I don't like that it's annualized, but I've enjoyed the living shit out of every game, so fuck it.

Will do. First impressions however:

1: Lara is hot (weird to say about a video game character, but jeeez)
2: Lots of quicktime events (I'm usually against them, but I feel they work in this game)
3: Game is great looking but makes me want next-gen.
4: Lara makes lots of moaning noises and makes it sound like I'm watching a porno
5: Scripted deaths are brutal
6: So far the game is rather linear

Never played any of the other Tomb Raider games before (well maybe one years ago), but I am finding this game pretty damn fun.
Totally missed seeing this yesterday, well it doesn't sound too bad. I did expect it to be linear, but I did think that the QTE implementations would be garbage and lol at the other stuff. Maybe I'll pick it up this month, I'll have to look at other impressions too.

Next Gen is this year bro, all bets are off
Remembering this puts things in a different perspective. (You're right, I'm still against the annualization of anything though.)

I sure am loving this Halo thread. lol.

You must be new here.

Thanks for that code link earlier btw. For some reason I tried to put in the first code and it said I needed to beat the first 15 chapters of Spartan Ops on Legendary, which I have. So I don't know what's up with that.
