Is not that, they don't show the guy pulling his iPad and the simply zooning into it...why?. Interviews separating the both guys is pretty common, what I mentioned is not really that common.

.. because?

are interviews shot in a certain way?

do interviews go out of their way to try to show that they are actually, truly interviewing a person? lol

what's interesting is the images on the device, they set up a camera up to the ipad's screen and start shooting there. It's more convinient. Why would you want to see a guy pulling out his ipad. It's an edited interview.

are you people reading yourselves

oh my god I cant tell sarcasm anymore

so basically

you have an interview shot without putting both people in the same shot, something that is done in a shit ton of interviews

and not only that, but apparently the fact that they might not be in the same room when this was recorded means that he is definetly CG

this thread is just blowing my mind

I don't think you understand.

Joakim's background is purposefully dark to prevent implementation of a shadow for HEAD CEO.

Fallen Xbot (cannot continue gaining levels in this class)
the ONLY thing making me think it could even remotely be CG is the fishy way its edited/filmed.

I would like to believe CGI, but

If this matter never comes up again, I think real is the obvious answer..

Did anyone try asking Geoff on twitter?

I'm sure most GTTV interviews aren't like that....

I'm not using it as an absolute proof, I'm just saying that the interview is edited in a way that would mask the CG way better if it wasn't done like that.

GDC is the Game Developers Conference, and what better way of showing how good their tech is than convincing people it's real?

It'll help the engine gain popularity immensely.

Why create an elaborate ruse that they where in the same room? Going as far as having Geoff share a pic of the guy on instagram? Can you give a single other example of a GT.TV interview that is shot this bizarrely?

Bish loves my games!
If it's NOT CG it's a very weirdly shot, edited, conducted interview. It is intended to give the impression that something weird is going on.

I think some of the 'jankiness' people see comes from the fact that you can only see his eyes and mouth and those feature become exaggerated.

dude, it's obviously bizarre and fucked up; it's kojima. They probably werent in the same room at all

but it's not a CG created person running on the fox engine ffs

Exactly my point.

I think we mostly agree that if is CG, is only the face that is, as shown on other face tech demos.

The only thing that makes me think this is remotely plausible as CG, is that no human being has teeth that fucking white.

I mean really. No one.

I thought the interview was really bizarre but I thought that it was because Kojima is a nut case.
The guy definitely seems "off," but again if you just told me he was acting strange because Kojima told him to, I would not disbelieve you.

this is a pretty great social experiment though

like, I can totally see James Cameron revealing Avatar 2, filming the whole movie with actors, claiming its CG, and everyone believing him

people start double guessing anything if they look close enough wanting to believe.

The teeth... Look to the teeth

He also looks right at the camera while speaking in the middle of a sentence, he wasn't addressing the audience before he started to speak. Isn't it looked down on to directly look at the camera while doing a interview? Shouldn't he be looking at Geoff or where Geoff would be?

Look at how he talks and how Geoff talks.

You can actually see Geoff using his tongue, like a human being.

Joakim only uses his lips to talk, which shouldn't be possible.

I'm looking forward in seeing how you'll react if it does indeed turn out to be CG. ;)

Perhaps a new tag would be in order for you?

I'm very much convinced it is though, since it all makes too much sense for GDC.

Just asked him. Hopefully I get a response.

Edit; Well I guess I asked for no reason if he all ready responded in the thread.

Weirdest interview ever.

Obviously GTTV must be in on the stunt... or at least were brought in after the invite.
Haha... the gasp. This is great.
