2 hours later and Im at 39%. Slow as hell but no restart (Yet).

My friend just tried and it wont let him start the download so I guess its over folks.

My download stopped at something like 76% but it was actually finished(*). Took more than two hours.

(*) Data doesn't appear corrupted on my hard drive and I was able to start the game (just a few seconds into the opening cinematic then I switched my console off cause I have other things to do).

I downloaded it but when you go to play it it wont launch. Looks like they got wise ahh well.

Maybe i was in to late and they have killed the game i was downloading, it wouldnt be the first time they did something like this before with things like resi 5 demo.

I keep looping between it asking me for a security code from my other email adress and then after I click next it goes ot a page with chinese on it and all I see is my other @live adress but not the one attached to my chinese xbox account

Yep it fully downloaded popped up i then went to find it on my dash it wasnt there, i then signed out booted up my main account it wasnt in my games list on there either so checked the file and it had corrupted next to it. It might have been a bad download, or ms might be killing it on your hdd which they have done in the past.

My 360 is downloading in powered down mode so I hope it doesn't happen to me. My connection is slow enough as it is. Did you disconnect the power supply at all during the time you downloaded it?

They will probably fix this if it was a mistake but nothing else.
They didn't do it with Fable 2 back then.

I don't see why they would single you out and purposefully corrupt the download. I'd reckon you should try re-downloading by the sounds of your problem.

Yeah but you could still delete the patch (wipe the cache) and play the game again.

I don't see why they would single you out and purposefully corrupt the download. I'd reckon you should try re-downloading by the sounds of your problem.

It couldve been just a bad download i will try and download it again in the morning, but ive had this happen to me before with the resi 5 demo i think it was from japan one day it worked next they had nuked the file, it happened to alot of people.

RE5 demo was co-op, which made it easier for them to ban the demo. Saying that, I don't remember them banning the demo, but it's been years so maybe they did and I just forgot about it.

They did mate it happened to me an alot of me mates that had shared the account. They corrupted the data on the hdd.

Yeah that means the data is corrupted, tell him to go in the storage and it will have corrupted next to it.

probably it will work only for people who have completed the download a while ago..people that are still downloading the game (myself included) will probably get a currupted version that is unplayable until they fix this "issue".
