You know, Elizabeth is just absolutely stunning looking. I decided I'd love to share the wide range of beautiful expressions Elizabeth is capable of.

And last but not least.

(Back right, Elizabeth may be looking pretty, but someone else in the picture is making more than enough goof to make up for it)

I just got an e-mail this morning from Square about playing the Final Fantasy XIV Beta in a few days. Hahahaha, sorry, I'll be playing this.

Amazing. Quality work right there, darkangel.

It's so fascinating to see skilled artists working within the constraints of technical limitations back then.

Localized yet?

Hopefully by the end of the year, but for right now over 1GB of translation patches allow it to be playable, though certainly not completely comprehensible. The REALLY important stuff like menus is all mostly in English, but much of the tutorial stuff is all in Japanese, requiring lots of Google searching/FAQ reading.

Other than that, it's fine. It feels like a true sequel to PSO, the graphics are decent once you fuck with some INI settings and inject AA. There is no in-game AA or Vsync setting and the launcher options won't allow you to select a resolution higher than 1080p, you have to force it in the config file.

Very informative, thank you. Has Sega talked about potentially launching this on Steam?

Don't understand why people remove the outlines in Borderlands. Just makes it look less unique, and it seems as though all the texture and whatnot were designed around them being there.

Agreed. I think they're a bit on the thick side if you don't downsample, but otherwise they're a part of the central aesthetic.

Yeah, the first time I played Silent Hill 1 was a few years ago and I was amazed at how well its art direction held up even with such outdated technical graphics.

It's just an interesting change.

When you expect something to look like X, it's always cool to at least see how it looks when compared to Y.

Not bad for a twelve year old game. I remember playing it at release, it was okay.

I played it on PS2 before I even heard of Half-Life, and the phrase, "Parker. You don't know me but my name is Hendrix, and I want to help you." Stuck with me for all these years. I don't know why, maybe because it was the first real story-based fps I'd ever played and that had a big effect on me.

My first screenshots. Let me know if I did something wrong so I can fix it please.

Fixed. Thanks for the tip :)

BMP's are usually pretty large. I don't much care, but you may get some flak in here for using them. If you want to make a smaller footprint, Convert them to PNG's.

FastOne Imageviewer, Photoshop, Irfanview, etc. are all programs you can do this with.

Are there any texture packs in the works by modders? Think the game actually looks quite nice most of the time but often there will be some oddly poor textures here and there. First two screenshot's blur is caused by the knockdown effect. Might switch the quoted one's position but similar versions of them had been posted I think.
