Chargebacks and refunds are a normal part of the crowdfunding process. It sucks, but this sort of thing happens too. Luckily it'll probably be just a few spiteful cheapskates. None of the big dick contributors are going anywhere. They signed up for stuff like Cels, super high res custom stick art, sticks, audio clips, music CDs, etc. We'll be fine.

The disadvantage of having a wide variety of mindsets is that we have some that go just too far.
Vote 2 will be interesting, I wonder how many people's top choices have changed over time? I didn't go into this wanting to vote Eliza, but she's almost certainly my number 1 pick at this point. The Umbrella, Annie and Stanley stuff is very persuasive.
When it's all over, I'd love to know if vote totals changed over time (like characters finishing higher as the vote when on).

The best part about this is 3 of the characters I want in the game are in top 8. So even if Minette doesn't make it one of them is going to.
A shame that so many people have bad taste and no common sense so annie gets votes. What's she play like guyz?

I still want to know how I started all this with Eliza/Issac as my main two to Eliza/Feng and now Eliza/Annie. Splash some B. Dahlia, Scythana and Venus in places and you have most of my first round Pick 4/Pick 3 votes.

Best character quirk ever. Also, unamused Umbrella should be given the job of introducing (unceremoniously) the arrival of all new DLC characters just for the saltening.

I'm expecting at bare minimum... sword normals and an annoyingly good DP.
I'm expecting some sort of cosmic motif, and a lot of attitude in her animations.
Combined with the whole 'magical girls who actually beat the shit out of things rather than sparkle -> pose -> explode' motif, that is more than enough for me. Besides... all of the mechanics for the listed characters are labled as 'subject to change' anyway... nothing is a lock, even if you do vote someone in. I just have faith they'll make the character interesting, because the one thing you can't call the playstyles of the cast at current is 'boring'.
It's the same for Feng. I liked her Salamander concept more, but the change didn't make me want her in the game any less.

The text basically says she can do EVERYTHING which means her potential is limitless. If you want a character that can potentially be rushdown, zoner and even grappler, Annie is your choice. The ultimate warrior.

I get this real feeling that Annie is that group that is really loud, but isn't as big as it really seems. This is what I'm going to tell myself. I could be wrong, but for some reason, i just have a feeling in my gut. Also, i still think Eliza is way more of a threat then the guys at this point.
Aside from probably having a Sword and Sagan stance. She has Guilty Gear clean hits from her Sol Badguy insipiration (I'm trying to find a source for why I remember this).

I'd love to give you my own speculation, but it's pointless since everyone is talking out of their asses and you just don't like her. I'm just going to say this one thing myself. I have never ever heard Mike say the words "Sol" and "Annie" in the same sentence.
We've fostered enough of that. The 360 patch is just about here so everyone can get on that instead of involving themselves in metavotes, waifu wars, and baseless character speculation. Anyone who wants more of that can gladly sign up on Skullheart or go to the IRC chat if they want that. We don't need anymore of this drama.

I think it's true about Beowulf as well. I really think Eliza and Issac are the big guys. I still think those two make it, but i feel Eliza or Issac is going to win. I'm just going off more of a gut (Issac has had huge buzz, and Eliza has been building steam with no look of stopping). I'll probably be wrong. I'm still just happy about having anything. Just like speculating, and all the fanart.

I kinda think so too, feels to me for some reason that she's getting many secondary votes that could possibly make her surpass people's first priority.

Instead of speeding up voting to deal with the chargebacks, why not simply have the voting results be shown in real time?
That way those detractors threathening with chargebacks can't claim LabZero is simply taking people's money and going with their own picks or something - it would actually be possible for smeone to say they were about to vote in characters so-and-so, and everyone would be able to see the numbers for those characters bumping up accordingly the moment the votes were cast.
Considering we're now having the blind votes, we're already dealing with "raw" results, which are going to affect the votes for the next character anyway, and people with clear favorites are unlikely to change their too much depending on what results they find at a given moment...
But maybe that's just me, I like the weekly rythm and the fanart flow inbetween.
