XboxEvent.com just registered by the same company that did Xbox's E3 presentations

I don't think they're waiting until June. Paul Thurrott said on Windows Weekly ages ago that he'd heard from a solid source that they were announcing it at an event in April. That was before Sony announced their PS4 press conference. He might be wrong, but he seemed very confident about it.
I just want an announcement of the announcement. nothing today it looks like. I want to know what Paul Thurrott meant by multiple skus, I get the impression its not harddrive sizes only.

True, true.
As for the crazy part - I don't know if it should be that crazy. What I really want is an ARG / viral thing - I love those kind of things and the lack of it is a bit sad honestly.

I'm with you.
But what if the whole Durango stuff (Leaks, SuperDAE) is the ARG?
lol

Really now?

I dunno if that's 7/11 or not, all products besides Xbox are Pepsi products

Pepsi is the one who does the game marketing, though. (Mountain few, usually)

Pepsi had a huggggge marketing thing for the 360 launch if anyone remembers... Getting the Xbox 360 before anyone else type of campaign

I will say this though, retailers usually don't know these things until 4~ weeks out and 7/11 is just one retailer of many so it's kinda confusing across the board

Definitely 7/11. The current promotion on that pic is called "Energy Ambush". I found it on their website as well:

complete with the same logo:

Also, Microsoft isn't calling it the 720, so there's that.

I'm pretty sure that logo is the fake blue "Xbox 720" logo thats been floating around the net for a while. Someone who put together that slide probably just google image searched and pasted that image there. That being said, we don't know what it will be called. No one has confirmed it will or won't be called that.

So whether or not the console is called Xbox 720, its probably a real 7/11 presentation, and they probably are having an Xbox-Next promotion in November/December. If not, someone went through A LOT of trouble to fake that.

well even if it weren't their presentation, that row is labeled 7-11 themes or something. Anyways, I don't think it really matters. The news I guess is that someone, probably 7-11, is planning a marketing push in November. I think that surprises exactly nobody though

Interestingly... the sites is now again linked to an actual IP, which was not the case for the last 2 weeks when it first redirected to bing.com and then not even could be found. (no DNS entry but google search index entries)

The IP is the same as it was before that 2 weeks (64.85.67.139) and belongs to eventcore but this time SOA is still msft.

Space Ponchos relate to Durango...
They get verbose.

Edit: I'm wrong. They gave out ponchos at the kinect reveal.

The code on the colored pages is written in Brainfuck (the programming language)

There are four images. Translated as follows:

Storm Clouds
More than now
Deep Computing
Petaflops>Teraflops

The last one makes me thinks this is seriously fake nonsense.
