Pretty sure it'll be a week, same as the other rounds.
Also, sucks. Was looking forward to whatever you had cooking up for Annie, haha.

I kind of fell for her design playing through MsFortune's story mode and I've been a fan since.
I mean look at that face
Fire Emblem got me and I've been drawing for like four days straight lawl. Might still do something midweek once I finish this book on foreign policy...

Best friend of a character I already use so works for a themed team.
Good character design choices in color and theme.
A power up type character which the game does not have yet and wont have, Elizia is awesome but her having a stance isn't unique to her Squiggly has one too.
Potential for charming/cute animations and plenty of additional side characters popping up in her combo strings making her visually fun to watch.
Kyosuke is linked as an insperation, so her having a samus style wave beam projectile could be in the cards for her power up mode

Make the right choice, guys. Vote Annie, and you'll get a character who's playbook is an astronomy text. Quasars, meteorites, suns, a sea of possibilities dipping straight into the cosmos themselves. Maybe none of the characters that you wanted got in, maybe you wanted a dude - it's totally fair, but, y'know, if you have a vote. Consider throwing it over to her - her design and her attitude completely juxtapose each other, and come on. You have to be curious what Lab Zero could do with a character with powers as unconventional as hers.

Easily the most creative and unique design-wise. Not seen many fish/mermaid-type characters in fighting games before and she's pretty charming. Aeon and Eliza feel like they would have been Skullgirls shoe-ins if the game had been developed longer, too typical and predictable in my opinion. Eliza also seems like a very standard Ahad design and I'm not a really big fan of his art designs.
Also has interesting game play mechanics. I love fighters who don't really "fight" like Wright from UMvC3, they're kind of fresh that way. Plus she has cameos in her attacks, it's a win-win for bidders and characters who didn't come in!

Aeon or Minette would be meh. Hell, how would Aeon would be pulled off? She should be the LAST character made, if she's going to drawn on many characters for moves; we'd want as much of the cast represented, and it'd be more cost-effective to draw from pre-existing characters instead of having to make totally new frames (for other characters) for her moves.

Eliza, and thats that. For the record, I don't dislike any of the 30 or so characters and simply voted on the ones I liked most from a gameplay, design, and story perspective. I truly believe that whoever wins, we all win. At the end of the day we are getting 2 more characters added to this game and I think that really is something to be happy about. Regardless if its the characters you voted on or not.

I'm #TeamBeon to the end, so Aeon gets my final vote. (Our silent legion will prevail.) Though I'd also be very happy if Eliza wins, as she's my #3.
Also, definitely DO NOT want the instant run off style vote. Too many opportunities for people to try some shady stuff. I'm worried that a lot of people will check yes for it though because they didn't ask the quicker time frame question first. I think a lot of people will assume that the instant run off and the quicker vote are automatically lumped together. :/

Scythe and Mic attacks, Blood-based specials, two attack modes including turning into the badass skeleton Sekhmet for Fast Mode
Eliza brings the complex mechanics that none of the other top four can provide. And who can resist the possibility of an Egyptian-Jazz fusion theme?

The original fan (not even artist) who 'came up' with Juju is being a dipshit. L0 has already tried the legal angle. And poor Juju suffered for it.
First, he's not an artist. He posted a comment on FB that inspired Alex to draw the character.
Second, we've been working on getting a contract to him to purchase the rights, but it's just taken a lot longer than we expected and we don't want to delay the vote for it.
The original fan (not even artist) who 'came up' with Juju is being a dipshit. L0 has already tried the legal angle. And poor Juju suffered for it.
Nah, it's that we just don't have a contract to give him yet. His behavior in IRC leaves a lot to be desired, but he's been very cooperative on the legal stuff.

Well, they did unwittingly (and perhaps unknowingly) insult Mike Z in the Skullheart IRC.
They're definitely not the most mature in the batch.

Quick question, will the full detailed results of all the rounds be revealed after this? Or will that still be kept hush hush, b/c of 2nd DLC vote?

Thanks to LabZero as well, for all this. It's been a great little example of why this kind of thing is great for fans... but also why no sane big corp would ever attempt such a thing, haha. I hope, ultimately, everything works out great, and only the benefits are left, while the threats and immaturity are left amongst the loud-speaking, non-active trolls, in the dregs of the internet.
It's been a wild ride, and finally, we'll get to see the initial truth behind all this speculation! (And then play a big waiting game, as we wait for the 2 already announced new characters, to be completed!)
