Well, that's that. Glad to hear.
I will say though that typically with all things Nintendo people tend to inflate gossip and rumours far beyond reasonable expectations, constructing fantasy scenarios in their head, then blame the rumour source for their own disappointment.
Reading the tweets in the op, I feel Emily is saying that:
1) She thinks the E3 line-up will be good.
2) Nintendo will be putting resources into making sure Wii U VC is up to scratch.
3) Owning both a Wii U and 3DS may be beneficial.
And from this I can derive:
1) This is fairly obvious to anybody following Nintendo. We're getting info on Smash, 3D Mario, and Mario Kart
alone. That is awesome as it is. We're also likely to see Bayonetta 2 for the first time, and possibly more of X. Throw in Yarn Yoshi, and it's great. That makes it a good line-up.
2) Not surprising. Nintendo knows people will buy VC games, and have already shown they're responsive to requests (see: Earthbound). I expect that service to grown.
3) See point No.2. VC games on both Wii U and 3DS would be fairly easy to do, and great for owners of both Wii U and 3DS hardware. If this isn't it, it wouldn't be overly surprising to see Nintendo try to do something with 3DS / Wii U connectivity.
Yet some people will read the tweets and see:
1) Amazing third party exclusives. Secret Nintendo titles yet to be announced on top of the ones we know. Retro: Game Changer. GTAV timed exclusive. Free blowjobs.
2) Virtual Console games to be remade in full HD and given away for free, with the blowjobs.
3) 3DS usable as Nintendo GamePad despite lack of buttons and function. All Wii U digital games transferable and playable on 3DS, irrespective of processing limitations. Magic is real. Free unicorn (blowjobs).
