Rehost the screenshots. It just redirects me to the Canadian store, and since the game's not out here I get an error code.

Screenshots for Farming Simulator are the same as the Google Play store I think. So Android port with button tax, still tempted.

Can't upload them atm, on my phone at Uni, haha.

£6.49. Android version is £1.

US demo please. :( but post some impressions ^^
Toukiden is the most blatant MH clone I've played to date, and it fails to impress in almost every aspect. I might not like the gameplay in MH, but there are many things that it does right, especially the crafting system and difficulty. The missions included in the demo were all insanely easy. It also lacked a lot of MH's depth. It didn't leave a very good impression on me.

Well, luckily, they've been detailing alterations to the game for the last month. https://twitter.com/toukiden

I can't read Japanese. :(

I'll give the demo another try after it's patched in May. As it is right now, I wouldn't recommend Toukiden to anyone, not even to the biggest MH fan who has been waiting for a new MH on a Sony platform.

Edit: Oh wait, it's already May. The lack of a new Vita thread is causing me to mix my dates up.

How does it control and what's the goals?

You run a farm. You plant, harvest, store, sell, more more shit. Do more shit to make more money. It's a farming simulator. I've only played for like 10 minutes so all i've done is harvest my field. BUT STILL>

Australian PS Store updated a few hours early. Yep, no Farming Simulator for us. :(

Soul Sacrifice is $48, a massive one dollar cheaper than a physical copy at JB Hi-Fi. Nothing at all in the description if it includes the bonus content.

Is it going to be released on PSN any time soon? What's the point of printing physical editions if you're shipping almost no copies?

Wish I knew! Everything about this game's 'release' has been really bizarre.

Sounds like GOTY material to me.

The top 10 PSN sales for April are going to be interesting. I'm wondering if Totori will still be there, and also maybe Soul Sacrifice will show up even though it was only available for less than a single day of the month. We've seen stranger things happen.

Never played Monster Hunter. Picked up MH2ultimate(?)the other week for 11 odd bucks... Anyhow, looks pretty gorgeous graphically/settings coupled with extra filtering, camera assigned to other stick + larger nicer screen.
Will have to a check it out after I've got some nice mileage from Soul Sacrifice which releases tomorrow in Australia.. Played 20mins in a training quest and kinda sucked me in MH2 that is.

Welp I just ordered a Vita off Amazon and am getting SS on PSN. PS+ and this thread made me do it. :)
Enjoy:) 30day old owner myself and love it. PS plus rocks also. SS kicks things upto an awesome level.. Short load times, skip fancy level intros and overall really tight/awesome production values judging by the demo.

I watched the Soul Sacrifice Quick Look. Jeff was not that great at the game, but they were only at the beginning. The biggest complaint was that the quests could get monotonous and repetitive. It wasn't as bad as I expected from the Giant Bomb guys.

They didn't seem to get that the point is the large monster battles. They kept talking about all the kill small monster quests like those are the point of the game. I don't think they have gotten to anything remotely challenging yet.

Their comments on the Bombcast were largely similar. Again, for both Jeff and Patrick, their complaints were about the quest design and the repetition, but they both acknowledged the game did some interesting things. Patrick said he had put in about 6 hours ago, dunno about Jeff, but he said he'd basically felt he had seen everything he could see (although confusingly he hadn't tried the MP, which seems like a pretty big oversight). It didn't really sound like either of them really got the spells system and they didn't really mention the good variety there was in that.

I dunno if they're doing a review or not, but if they are, it sounds like a 3* thing. Whatever, I'm already souled.
sorry

Worth it for single player alone? I've wanted to try MH for the longest time now, but no online is keeping me from trying it. Not sure if single player is interesting enough.
