Now that I've eaten my feelings (I didn't actually have dinner until now), some thoughts.

I'm not too salty about this. I think the better team won in the end. They put up more goals, and put them up when it really counted. The Leafs had their share of luck, but not tonight, despite being up a large sum. Something to work on, clearly, in the future.

I'm looking at this positively: Leafs made the playoffs after nine years, some of Burke and Nonis' work coming to fruition, playoff rookies getting their feet wet, actually being able to beat the Bruins, and it really gives the team a blueprint to work on in the future.

Not sure why Reimer would get any hate from anyone. I think he's one of the big reasons why the team stretched it out to seven games, and he played his best game yet. I think this cements his role as the #1 goalie in the team. None of this 1A/1B stuff anymore (pending next season's results). Not calling him to be the starter in Sochi or giving him the keys to the city just yet, but I think he's a better player now than before.

Phaneuf definitely gaffed hard on game 4 on the pinch in OT, but I do agree that you have to take risks when playing, unfortunately it didn't work out in his favour. I think he's done a good job, otherwise.

KESSEL had a good series, too. I legitimately think this shakes away some doubts or fears when he plays against the Bruins in the future. Dude's been huge this series.

GARDINER showed everyone that he can take his game to the next level. I think he's going to be a guaranteed top six next season. Don't fucking trade this guy, Nonis.

Got plenty more to say, but can't articulate at the moment. Have at it, NHL-GAF. Spray your salt all over me.

I had a salty comment that would have surely got me banned but I've tucked it away in the deepest corners of my mind.

Still hurts.

New thread. Still 3 rounds to go of potentially fantastic hockey. Nothing compares to the chaos of the first round, but it's the best of the best from here on out.

Caps shouldn't be allowed into the playoffs anymore, they're a wasted slot. Doesn't matter who coaches them, they always choke. Let someone else have a chance.

This poster pulses with an appeal so broad the typical restraints of our societies fall by the wayside.
From a Bruins beat reporter:

"Seguin said that Thornton told him basically in no uncertain terms before OT that it was time for him to do something."

In other words, Seguin had shit in his pants during OT.

According to the fan590, no team has ever blown a three goal lead in a game 7. Ouch.

Sorry Leaf-gaf. Like most other Bruins fans, I kind of wanted us bumped because we didn't deserve it. Much respect earned for the Leafs.
