Gran Turismo 7 Review Embargo and Media Live Streaming Dates Revealed

GTPlanet and other members of the media woke up to review copies of Gran Turismo 7 in our Inboxes this morning. We can confirm the international review embargo lifts on March 2 at 11:01 AM GMT (convert this to your local time here). Our written and video reviews of the game will both be published at

I just wish this game excels unlike the past few games in the series. A bunch of us grew up on GT racing, from the ps1 days. Keep the game alive! I think assetto corsa might take the cake in sim racing in all honestly. That's the game to beat, whether it's GT or FORZA, it's an uphill battle.

I thought Sport was doing really well? They seemed to support very well and continue to support it.

This will be my first GT since 5 on the PS3, so I am stoked!!

GT Sport was a nice break for them and is a game that keeps selling.
I do agree that i miss a classic GT game.

This one seems to refine the old school GT experience plus the GT Sport experience, all in one package. I'm hyped as well.

I preferred the first few iterations honestly. I'm a big racing sim fan, and I'd love to go back to it's origins. Sport wasn't bad by any means, but it wasn't the same as the OG series. Would love for a PC release.

Same, the first 3 were my preferred ones as well. Did not play 4, and minimally played 5 with a racing wheel, then mainly played on PC after that with it.

I'll be all over this game double dipping if it comes to the PC.

Fanatech fucked up my order, so went with a better built wheel with more resistance. Can't wait to try out GT7 if it comes to PC.

God only knows how GT7 will fare with the critics. I think it’ll defo be an 80+ on metacritic, but it doesn’t really matter much to me. It’s a day 1 regardless.

Booked a week off work. Better not disappoint!!

Really excited though, my last proper GT game was 5. Shame they never brought 6 over to PS4.

Pleeeease let me be able to get a playstation to play it, i already have the fanatec wheel for it already, i just need the console. i need gt in my veeeeeins.

Base number about 500k may be the same for GT5, GT6, Forza or new GT but GT Sport and GT7 uses tesselation on top of that, so that 500k can be shifted to parts of the car, that are close to the camera. Effect? Like it was made of almost unlimited number of polygons.
On top of that attention to detail and shaders are on a whole different level in favor of GT.
