I still can't wrap my head around people calling this hot, sexy or whatever. It's big, its mismatched colors, half of it is matte, half of it is gloss. It looks like it weighs 50lbs. Ugliest console I've seen since, well, a long time.

The super slim PS3 looks miles better than this.

Herp derp. The PSOne was a slim version of the PS1, not the 3rd like the Xbox is.

To be fair, the fact that it's designed to sit under your TV, or on top of an amp etc is a pretty smart move. It will slot into your AV area nicely, and since it doesn't have weird angles, loads of chrome or whatever on it means it will just blend in. I guess the days of small, next-gen consoles are over.

That thing isn't going to fit in any of my entertainment centers. I also move around quite a bit and there is no way in hell I'm lugging that thing around.

Half the top is a grill. The back is a grill. Both sides are a grill.

You can't stack anything on the right side, it will burn the system out.
You can't stack anything on the left or you'll scratch the hell out of the finish.

The first thing that came to my mind when I saw it was... VCR. Its lines are clear and it's relatively devoid of ugly curves, but it's far larger than I expected it to be. What's REALLY scary is that half the top is a bunch of vents.

It's definitely big but as far as overall design, it's not BAD looking...Just not GOOD or sexy by any means. Mediocre really and the VCR comments kind of fit.

It won't be winning any awards for sexiest console of its time, that's for sure.

What happened to the people who designed the original Xbox 360? That was a very good design. Still is actually. Quite a bit better than the piano black, shiny 360 Slim that was only marginally smaller than its predecessor.

It's not beautiful, not even ugly... it's NOTHING! That's the most boring console design I've ever seen! The OG XBOX looks 10 times better than this. The PS3 superslim is a BEAUTY compared to this (no really, I like the PS3 superslim design), but the XBOX ONE...

If there wasn't a small "xbox" logo on it, you wouldn't even recognize it as a gaming console!

So really, THAT's the BEST the MS design team came up with??!?!

Seriously, what is going on inside this thing? The size would make sense if it was powerful, but the games on display didn't look nearly as good as the PS4 games. Hell, they looked more like WiiU games, and it looks to be like 4-500% the size of the WiiU volumetrically, with an external power brick.
