Amazon no longer selling Versus XIII?

It's a Versus product, so no surprises on the delays :p
But it's most likely just logistical issues with concerned products.

Though it's a little funny that even products related to Versus to get delayed in some way. Or just more depressing . :(

to be fair versus game was never delayed because they never had a release date to begin with.

Of course they delayed the announcements. :)

Am I the only one who thinks this game is dead and whatever assets the have created will be absorbed into another project?

I'm pretty excited for this. Even if there is a megaton I don't think it can top my excitement for XV. My levels are about the same level as Kagari's probably.

Nope, sorry.
I'll be happy when we can finally say goodbye to that unnecessary trilogy.

lol. For the Xteenth time I agree.

Kagari, can you at least answer me one thing?

Can you at least assure me that no matter what form Versus will take, or if it even EXISTS in any capacity, that they won't replace Nomura and the KH team with Toriyama and his "shit this out in a week" team?

Because I'm starting to lose sleep at the possibility of this. I'm really, really afraid, and I'd rather Versus just be cancelled then be given to that monster for butchering.

Rest assured.

I'm pretty sure Nomura would quit SE before he'd let that shit happen. In other words, no, it's not happening.

At this point I wonder what it would take to make Nomura quit SE.

You'd think delaying his big FF debut title for several years would have ticked him off some, but apparently not.

Although I also wouldn't be surprised if he decided to leave after Versus and/or KH3 was done.

All I care about is if A. the entourage is still there (Noctis, Gladiolus, Prompto and Ignis) and B. If the bad ass scenes we've seen from the 2006 / 2007 trailers are still there.

Honestly, those are the two things that are most important to me as weird as that is.

Edit: I should probably add alongside the obvious release date of the game. :p

Will Nomura be at e3?

I'll probably get flamed for this but I'm more excited about seeing new CG and hearing new music than seeing the gameplay right now. Although I would be sad if they didn't show any gameplay at all.

One can only imagine how stressful this was to him...Maybe his job pay and next-gen incentive as well using utilizing top of the line technology for versus made him accept nearly a decade of delays.

If nomura quits it will be a massive hit to the company...His is one of the most established and significant character designers in the world.

No, you can definitely tell from his interviews that he's been wanting to show off his game for a while. My only hope is that when it finally does get re-revealed, it comes out gunsablazin. None of that trickle piece by piece shit.

I want to show it but.....please forget about it for a while.......

I really hope versus/XV will go back to the old days of vii/viii/ix when the series had great side quest and fun mini games.
Monster Arenas/Hunts are fun and all but they need to go back to the drawing board and think about what made the older previous entries special.

Yup. Less cutscenes, more playing. Even in a FF game it's better to leave some things to the imagination.

To be fair he has been kept pretty busy with other projects where he was a director or producer. I mean Nomura was involved in some way with:

Crisis Core
T3B
Dissidia
Dissidia Duodecum
358/2 Days
Coded and Re:Coded
BBS
DDD
TWEWY

That's a pretty long list of games. He's been relative quieter since 2012 though and that's when Versus was meant to have gone into full production so while I can't imagine he is pleased it's taking this long he has used his time effectively on other projects.
