I usually look for tix the day of the game like 4 hrs before tipoff. The prices can go down somewhat

another 2k simulation of game 1 had the Spurs choke a 6 point lead in the 3rd. Pretty much back and forth until 2 minutes left in the game. LeBron hit a jumper on the elbow despite Duncan and Leonard double teaming him to seal the game.
97-90 final
It was still winnable but Duncan missed a layup in the paint. Somehow the ball leaked out to LeBron near half court and got a clear path foul.
2K sims have been spot on in the playoffs. Even had Heat/Pacers go 7. Although for whatever reason, SA has HC in the Finals.

Yeah, I am actually. I thought the Spurs would cakewalk over the Warriors in 2k and every game came down to the last minute or OT except for 1. With the same settings, Spurs swept the Grizz.

Aside from the wrong HCA, the only NBA player to announce his retirement during the playoffs was Vince Carter.
Forgot to mention Wade hurt his back during the 1st quarter and never returned.

I think stern is just leaving because he's old.
But no doubt it's ridiculous how nonchalant the NBA is about PEDs.
But LBJ having a legacy of steroid use in combination with bailing on Cleveland to form a superteam would easily make him the worst player to ever lace up on an NBA court.
I doubt he gets caught anytime soon, the NBA simply isn't trying to find anything.
I don't even know how this stuff broke in the MLB era. If it just started with a can't debunk leak of epic proportions or what, but the MLB was very similar to the NBA back then in trying to ignore the problem.
I need to get a refresher on that whole saga.

If you're staying downtown the city is easily walkable. However, the ATT Center is a straight shot down Houston Street about five miles from the Alamo yet decidedly unwalkable. You'll be traversing through one of the most dangerous parts of the city. I'd advise you to grab a hotel downtown and just spring for a taxi to the game. Or you can hop on one of the public transit buses, which usually during Spurs' games offer 'park and ride' from specific destinations directly to the arena. And you'd have a lot of fun for a weekend getaway - San Antonio is the most visited city in Texas and Riverwalk, Alamo, Mission Reach, and Pearl should keep you busy enough. If you want upscale, head to La Cantera on the north side.
