Nice move for Microsoft.
Release the bad news before, than only good news at E3.
All those games I'll play on the anti-consumer hellbox!

Everyone needs to go read for themselves the policies. Sad that no one takes the time to read. Xbone supports used games.
Boycott campaign?
is a joke or ?
What do you think Planetside2 use? The Cloud aka Online Servers.
In my case no, as I previously posted in this thread:So since we have established the concept is ok with you from a consumer rights perspective as long as the value is there for you, if MS has decent sales and prices, you would be ok with this?
The mandatory online thing is enough my main issue. Most of it seems fair to me (Steam user here), except for the checking in every 24 hours. But that small detail is enough to keep me from buying an Xbox One.

My educated guess from talking to a bunch of people - none of whom know any specifics, but are around Sony a lot - is that if Sony has something it won't be nearly as insane as what MS just showed.
But there's little things that can cause a lot of aggravation. Microsoft is basically saying "We let publishers decide whether not you can or can't sell your games and we decide where you can do that."
Even if Sony doesn't have the other stuff but they have the above... that's not acceptable. There's an awful lot wrong with MS's policy, but the dictating what customers can and can't do with physical media that really aggravates.
Eh, you have a choice to not buy the X1 just as you have a choice to not use Steam. Being educated out in front helps you make an informed decision ahead of time. The market will reward who consumers support with sales. Choose another platform that has DRM you can handle.
We love games, so they may have big announcements to make.
I wonder how many outside of GAF/Hcore circle even know about this (or care, until it's too late).

Can I sell my game to an extranger? a person at work or online?
So
PS4 has stronger Hardware
Has free Online Play
More Consumer friendly
More Indi Dev friendly
Will be around the same price as the xbone
Sony showed that they release many AAA exclusives the whole Generation and not like MS only in the first 4-5years.
Why should anyone buy a Xbone at the moment?
"Banned"Trade-in and resell your disc-based games: Today, some gamers choose to sell their old disc-based games back for cash and credit. We designed Xbox One so game publishers can enable you to trade in your games at participating retailers. Microsoft does not charge a platform fee to retailers, publishers, or consumers for enabling transfer of these games.
Give your games to friends: Xbox One is designed so game publishers can enable you to give your disc-based games to your friends. There are no fees charged as part of these transfers. There are two requirements: you can only give them to people who have been on your friends list for at least 30 days and each game can only be given once.
Looking at his history: yes, he did.
That one is not joking, shill as well.
Many of them aren't "people" as such.
It gets better when you start looking at the posting history of these accounts.
You find accounts with 40 posts that are only active to either defend Microsoft or shit on the products of one of its competitors, over years. You find people that implied XB1 hardware secret sauce right up to the reveal. Then you can start identifying the various diversionary tactics that have been designed to deflect from or counter genuine issues, and how they evolve over time. It's a dark place, and discovering it has made me a more angry poster.
What happens to gamefly?

How about another crash? :/
How much is MS paying you?

So only one person in my family can be playing from the shared library at the same time? No thanks, my kids and I often are playing different games on different consoles in the house at the same time.
I still don't understand why they can't just do a one-time online check at the time the game is installed. The 24-hour check seems superfluous.
Other than that, this seems like a reasonable attempt to balance things out.
And boom another one. This thread is already graveyard. Bish is on fullspree.

Hope for another vid.
If you think this sounds pretty good or reasonable you're out of your mind.
The same thing that will happen to GS.
You still aren't reading it hard enough. Stare at it until it says "everything is awesome" and then you will have successfully read it.
I don't really consider myself a vicious person, but I hope they are all permanent. I don't want to see them popping up again at E3 2014. At least make them go through the trouble of getting a new account. And boom another one. This thread is already graveyard. Bish is on fullspree.
