Games that no one has played on NeoGAF except you

I didn't even like the game

I did, I had really good time with it ;)

Akai Katana home user edition. Probably had a run of 100 or so, limited CAVE-shop only version of the game with a completely different scoring system than the original.

That box is glorious

This is actually one of the bigger names in home console mahjong. I must have sank 30 hours or more into this game last year, one of my most played games on Wii. It's just a totally simple, fun mahjong game to play when I've got some time to kill.

what fresh hell is this?

My contribution is Land of the Dead: Road to Fiddler's Green.

The Ring is one of the worst horror games ever. There's not much else to say about it. See for yourself

Funny enough, I actually kind of liked Land of the Dead. Not a great FPS by any means and certainly not much in the way of content but I still had some fun with it.

Every 6 months or so when some variation of this thread pops up, I post this image and no one else has played it. Metal Gear Solid/ Silent Hill tricked me into buying anything Konami back in the PS1 era.

For those in the know, this is actually something of an underrated gem. Definitely a title that set the groundwork for stuff like Amnesia.

I played GraalOnline back in the early 2000's when I had a shitty pentium 2 laptop that couldn't handle 3d graphics.

Yeah, it debuted on iphone back in 2009 and has recently experienced a renaissance; the Classic version of graal iphone has about 2,000 online usually and the Era version ( I don't know if you remember that server) has about 2,000 online as well. It still doesn't seem to be as well known as it used to be though.

I'm fairy sure I saw someone with a Journeyman Project avatar around these parts though. Believe it was the Temporal Security Agency's emblem.

Played the hell outta this as a kid.

Felt good when I finally beat it.

Shows my age (38) but when I was still using a pre-windows PC running DOS 5.0, there was a qbasic compiler built into DOS and it came with code for two games. Most people had no idea this was in there. You opened qbasic, opened the code and executed it.

Gorilla

Nibbles
qbasic-nibbles-screenshot.gif

Now that brings back some memories.

Me and my sister would play the hell out of Gorilla.

Nibbles was pretty good too. I had hell trying to find Gorilla again when I hit college.

I had the SNES cart of it. Never did beat it legit.

Game throws WAY too much bullshit at you.

Giant Dragon from the sky? There goes your armor *break*.

I had yet to find a post about Terra Phantastica on GAF until I googled it and came up with an image linking to a GAF thread that gave me a virus warning. It's a really great Saturn SRPG, perhaps better than Shining Force III.

Japanese speakers who love SRPGs may want to try this out on PC (via emulator). It doesn't really seem to be known in Japan either.

Got mediocre reviews but I loved it.

i used to love yugioh cards as a kid and even enjoyed the tv show. the video games were the best though, especially on gba. shame it isn't popular anymore, i would love to see a game on steam with 3D graphics ala magic the gathering

anyway probably my favorite game ever

Here's a Saturn and PS1 game I love that never get much spin:

...if Zombies Ate My Neighbors was a Zelda game crossed with God of War. Co-op too.

Oh man I wanna play it again... PSN already, ffs. With LucasArts in the Disney Vault, it's probably lost to the void for eternity.

Oh man, mega nostalgia hit. I remember playing this game when I was tiny, but not what it was called. I remember it being really difficult for me, and that you'd get sent to the underworld if you died or something. I really want to play it again now.

Here's a few of the PC games I own.

Street Legal.
Most people that have played a game in the Street Legal series have played the sequel, Street Legal Racing: Redline (which is better in pretty much every way)
This game is pretty terrible, but I actually like it. Or rather, I like the concept behind it.
It's an obvious cash-in on the early 00's street tuning and customization craze, but has a whole lot more depth than you'd think. You can buy all new parts for your car (and manually add/remove/customize them down to the tail lights and even individual parts of each car's engine.
I really wish someone would take the concept and make an actual good game out of it, because I think it's something with a lot of potential.

I think I'm the only person who played this game on gaf. It's not that big of a fighting game and I don't think many people payed attention to it when it was released.

Also this. I think some people probably played this but I'm not sure. Not many people play anime games so that's why I picked these 2, but I bet somebody somewhere on here did. Half anime games are usually mediocre and a few are great so I wouldn't be surprised if someone did or didn't play them.

This old [pink panter] point and click game for the PC. So good.

My local library had this on one of their computers (they had 4), you could only book the computer for 30 minute chunks, so I could never finish it. :c

Autos bauen mit Willy Werkel - it's a German game about some awesome hillbilly building custom cars with lots of funny items, driving around, solving some puzzles. That's been my favorite game in my elementary school days. There are some sequels about building ships, planes, houses and space ships as well.

I played this. It was translated into Norwegian.

Feel like DanishGAF has a good chance of recognizing this game/franchise. All I could recall about it was that when I was young I would play this game on our family PC from time to time. Wasn't until very recently that I remembered its existance.

aw ye, I remember they used to put out a christmas calendar Hugo game where, based on your computer's system clock, you'd progress the story and get a new task (minigame) every day of December.

NITEMARE 3D (1994.)

played this as well. The shareware version anyway. Which I paid for. ( ._.)

I'm sure a bunch of people have played it, but who else has finished Superman 64 -- twice?

Nope, that accolade goes to you and you alone.

This is my contribution, although seeing as this is GAF I wouldn't be surprised.
Good little game. Borrowed it from my opare once when I was younger and got hooked! Probably my first ever dose of 'strategy game' with troop management and classes and stuff.

I'm pretty sure someone has played this one (unlike Inner Worlds), but likely not a few people. It's a F2P 3D MMO RTS/TCG from the Spellforce devs. Used to play with some friends, was fun.

Also, these probably

I played Tom & Jerry War of the Whiskers also, it was pretty fun. I first played it over a friends house when I was 9, and I loved it so much that when I came home I immediately went to GS and bought it. It's broken now but I remember that game being addictive to me, though I'm not sure how it held up over the years.

Played this as a kid on my first PC i got from my uncle.

I literally had no idea how to do anything.

When NWN: Kingmaker came out in 2004 I suddenly had the urge to binge-played a ton of titles from SSI, Black Isle, Bioware, etc... and came across this one for the first time. I remember enjoying it... but those are probably D&D rose colored glasses, +10 Nostalgia, that I'm wearing...

This thread reminded me of a PC demo for a game I played when I was younger. I managed to dig up the CD-ROM. Can anyone tell me what this game was? I kinda feel like no one has played it. (Hence why I am posting in this thread)

I wouldn't be surprised if Kagari's played it, given her Titanic predilection, but I'm sure very few GAFfers will have touched this game. There was a time where I was all about the point and click advantures.

Oh my god, my Mom had this game. Played the hell out of it. Never expected to see it on GAF. :lol

LOVED this game... I remember there were various ways to escape the ship, and that ending... I still have the cd's laying around somewhere.

Did anyone here play Noctropolis? I remember back then I played Full Throttle, Noctropolis, and some other point and click adventures but I never got into Monkey Island or Day of the Tentacle or Grim Fandango :(
