This thread is making realize just how messed up Capcom's PR is these days. Everyone is ultra afraid of Japanese insularity.
By the end of this gen, you kinda have to be considering all the missteps they've taken whilst simultaneously admitting they're lagging far behind the west. People don't want their favourite franchises to end up like FF, RE, DmC, etc. It's not really a Capcom specific problem, though they've struggled most with it.

Sven leaving alone doesn't tell us what the future holds. Right now I'm not excited for anything they have on the horizon.

It's a problem industry wide actuall Japanese publishers are bleeding the most from it though. This is a symptom of AAA game development

I think that is exactly right.
Ono has his EVO announcements - whatever they may be and Ono being there means that there's at least one guy with a bit of pull that is a huge booster for fighting games and their advancement...
[like him or not he got a lot of stuff done]

Only if Ono hasn't been displaced or moved to a different role in this restructuring..

I think they'll keep him as a sort of spokesperson though. People will listen to Ono's Engrish even if they won't a single thing from every other part of Capcom PR.

Man when you look at all the big names that have left Capcom over the past gen, it's quite striking. Judd, Kamiya, Mikami, Inafune.

Does anyone know how to get a tournament edition to work on Final Burn Alpha/GGPO? The face buttons work but back/start and the stick itself won't register.

I think "hyper" is perfect. Brings back a classic name and also makes the whole name shorter

Hyper Street Fighter IV > Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition
