Damn a lot of these screens and cinematic shots look way more impressive than I'd expect. But damn the chins on some of those characters....

This isn't Arc System Works' decision, but the arcades' decision.
 
This game is looking hot so far

Impressions from dustloop sound pretty good to me so far. I wanna see all of these new moves in action.

Is Millia suppose to be a weird homage to Galaxy Express 999 now? Because that's what I think of whenever I see her new design.

Seriously though if people are getting cell pics up I'm pretty sure footage will leak out sooner or later.
 
Some general gameplay and Sol details from ElvenShadow of dustloop:

Sol:
Has a divekick now
Riot Stomp is now a flaming punch instead of a kick. Moves the same way.
Air Dragon Install activates fast
"Sol looks way more Gearish (like a demon)"

Gameplay:
Ok I played one match against a human, Ky vs Ky.

Game speed feels good! Pretty much just like XX series.

RC works with whiffed normals and projectiles and does slow time but time slow is very brief and doesn't really seem like it will disrupt match flow.

Dust feels nice and smooth and I tried both kings.

Character select screen doesn't look like it will fit many more characters but hopefully they will redesign it.

The graphics are stunning. Fully animated 3D intros for characters. The game is visually wonderful.

Supers are cinematic like SF4 but go much quicker and don't really bother me or take long.

FD feels the same. Tapping it will stop run momentum as always.

Specials seems to carry momentum as always.

Couldn't hear music.
All moves feel like they have JUST a little more hit stop in general which makes it seem easier to confirm but makes combos feel a little slower. Movement is about the same speed I think.

Edit: extra hit stop on hit only. Block feels the same as old games.

There were some other things, but I skimmed the thread and these stuck out to me.

Regarding the new roman cnacels from the dengeki article.

The key point of development for the new system was to make the Roman Cancel mechanic more interesting, such as using it to to attack simultaneously with projectiles and to slow time. Right now it comes in two types (colors): red and yellow. Other colors were hinted as possibilities.

Seems like they're actually merging RC and FRC, and just making the mechanic simpler to do altogether.

I'll be interested to see what comes out of the slowing time thing. I'm guessing that it will extend hit stun for more elaborate combos.

that's disappointing. that trailer got me interested in GG.
