Early buzz seems real good, some reviewers are already done with the game. The Giant bombcast said it was real real good. I'm hype.

I listened to a bit of the latest bombcast but didn't get to the point they mentioned SR4. I figured they just didn't mention it. I'll check for it again.

That was a few weeks ago when they first got review copies. I think they talk about it again in the latest episode, but I haven't gotten there.

An OT so good it killed Chrome on my OG Nexus 7. I read the entire thing on my PC and it's great. OT's have been good for The Last of Us, Dragon's Crown, and this, Saints Row IV.

Already got it pre-purchased on steam and looking forward to it.

Still pretty bummed about no Female Voice 3/Rebecca Sanabria. I've got the inauguration station and the French/Southern Belle voices don't compare, IMO.

Gotta figure out a new Boss for this game.

I hope with the devs saying there will be more of a focus on being open to the modding community that someone can at least rip out her VA from SR3 and put it in. Sure it won't happen in cut scenes but at least during the normal game.

I just hope the game is playable without superpowers for the most part. Dont get me wrong im going to have lots of fun with them, but there will be times where I will want to dial down the insanity a notch. Sometimes you just want to shoot someone, not hit them with the apoco-fist

My full opinion is locked down until tonight's lifting of the reviews embargo, but I will at least say that Saints Row IV is one of the best examples I've seen in a long time of a game that wants the people playing it to have fun. If you're thinking about getting it, that would be a wise decision to make.

I think the giant Saints Drink is the reason, and because Ghost Busters like Saints Row, is crazy and awesome. Campy stuff, looking at that statue of liberty scene again, it look so cheesy but fun and why not. They could have gotten a helicopter or something to enter from the roof, but they animated a statue.

Despite having an absolutle blast with SR3, current situations meant that I couldn't quite justify a preorder of IV, but fortunately I won a copy from Videogamer.com last week so... back in the game! ^_^

By all accounts, it looks as though it is shaping up to be a fun little title. Very different (yet again) from its predecessors, but as long as it is fun, one cna't complain. I just hope Prof. Genki returns (and especially the firework based Genki Gun - my word, I loved that in 3!)
