Online isn't always an option for minors who don't have credit cards or parents who are willing to use theirs. If you are scalping, I hope you don't make a single cent off the damn thing.

If Sony do launch on the 21st with only 3 games (all first party) it would certainly help them really push Killzone as a big AAA shooter franchise.
It's also a nice way to stagger the games from launch up to Christmas. Stuff like BF4 and AC4 comes out a week later, then COD and Need for Speed / Fifa / Watch Dogs through November.
A nice, steady selection rather than a mass of games all dropping day 1.

there should be a lot of PSN titles too from indies to Planetside 2 etc. on launch day.
I didnt realize video game systems were that serious to wish that on me, no matter my intent.

You constantly saying "a made up kid" is really charming. It's almost as if you don't understand the concept of theoretical scenarios. Skeff wasn't asking what you'd do to a "made up kid" in that scenario, he was asking what you'd do to a real kid. And if you're so childish that you can't stop saying "but but butttttt there is no real kid in that scenario!" First off, you're entirely missing the point of a theoretical scenario; secondly, you have no clue whether there aren't actually any kids in that exact dilemma or not; and third, you really need to work on the way you approach arguments.

Why would that be? If 21st is correct for PS4 then Fifa is the only 3rd party title thats coming out before PS4, so it makes more sense as launch title than BF4/AC4/COD/NFS etc.
There's been little to no information on the Next Gen FIFA, I'd have expected at least a trailer for it.

My money situation is very tight and my PS4 and 3 games was paid for ENTIRELY with trade ins so if Xmas comes around and the going price for the PS4 on ebay is sky high, I may end up selling mine.
If that happened I would be more than willing to wait for some cash to free up.

Scalpers really aren't even who you have to worry about if you're trying to buy a console around launch from an auction site. It's the people that try to get you for not reading carefully

Yep happened to a friend of mine. She paid £90 for a iphone 4 box. Her reasoning? "It cant be just a box, who charges £90 for a box?"
Nah, we just returned them to the store when we realized this thing was a dud in the first 7 days after launch.
In my case is be giving up the one system I got.

Nothing illegal, but immorality is certainly more in the eye of the beholder. I'm sure more people see it as immoral than those who see it as perfectly normal. I don't really care, but I can't say I see it as morally neutral.
I mean if PS4 got super stock and people who ordered multiple got kind of screwed and they were barely over retail on ebay and such, most people would laugh and see it as justice.
all I have said is that when I get my system is that IF prices on eBay are going for sky high ($1000+) I'd be tempted. Not saying I'd do it. I'm just saying I'd be tempted.
The differences is that I am buying mine with the intention to keep NOT to sell.
That is a difference whether you like it or not.
Personally I wish retailers would limit it such that if you buy more than 2 systems you can't return anything more than 2. Anything beyond 2 would have to be handled through Sony.
Of course there are ways to get around it.
