My girlfriend cannot empty her bladder in one pee session. She feels like she does, but she'll have to pee again moments later. Usually twenty minutes. This usually occurs after she drinks a lot at once. It isn't a UTI since it's been like this for many years.

What is it?

The bladder can only hold so much. I wouldn't worry about it.

So, uh, Amway its like a pyramid scheme right? I just saw an old highschool buddy on the starbucks line and he spent the next 20min trying to get me in on it. I gotta say, i did NOT enjoy that cup of coffee.

Kinda, yeah. Here's a picture of what I'm looking at.

I'm trying to figure out if they sell an adapter where I can convert one of these into a standard RF cable.

I think what you want is called a matching transformer.

A friend of mine wanted some help with his pc, as he was getting blue screens. It turns out that there is a corrupt file on the HDD.
So I decided to take the HDD home and check it out on my computer. I am only able to have one HDD connected at a time, so I connected it as a master HDD. However, after checking on it, another friend of mine mentioned that I should have used it as a slave instead.

Now I am terrified that I might have messed up his HDD/Windows 7 installation, since I used it in my rig with my motherboard, GPU etc. Is there a risk that I have now messed it up and it will cause driver instability or something when he uses it on his computer again?

I feel terrible. This guy relies on me and I might have messed things up. :(

Master and slave for harddrives hasn't been relevant since they went sata.

Are you talking about booting his windows on your machine? It will probably work just fine. Drivers don't get uninstalled when switching hardware

Oh? Yes, I meant booting his Windows on my pc.

Thanks a lot for the answer, and that's a huge relief to hear. I was getting really worried about this.

I have a 34" Sony CRT HDTV I bought back in 2004. It's an awesome TV, fantastic black levels, but it's HUGE. Like, 200 lbs.

Do you think anyone would buy it? If so where would the best place to advertise it be? Or should I take it to the electronic recycling center at my dump? Or give it to Goodwill? (Would Goodwill even want it?)

Craigslist is probably your best bet either way. If you just want to get rid of it I'm sure someone would take it if you put it up for free.

My brother and I share an Amazon Prime account, since he's a student and therefore gets a discount on the service. Is there a way to add another email to the account, so that when I buy an item the delivery confirmation gets sent to my email instead? Thanks.

Why do junior members get ignored?

Well most don't have avatars which means they simple don't stand out as much, when a forum/threads move so fast they just get skipped over. People also wrongly think that junior member means 'child' that because they haven't 'been here long enough' that what they say isn't of any value.

Yes absolutely. I share it with my wife, she logs in with her own email address and gets her own confirmations. Not sure exactly where the option is but dig around and you'll find it.

Edit: I just looked up the student version of Prime and apparently that can't be shared. Sorry!

Amazon Mom and Amazon Student members with Amazon Prime shipping benefits and customers receiving a free 30 days of Amazon Prime benefits with Kindle Fire won't be able to share their benefits.

Girlfriend and I wanna move in to an apartment together. Thing is, we're not entirely sure how much we'd want to be making to live comfortably. We're saving up to around $8-10k over the next year to use as cushion money and money for furniture. We're looking for apartments around $450 and lower, preferably $400. Averaging in expenses such as an electric bill, internet bill, gas, food, etc. (no cable)... what would be a comfortable amount to bring in per month to live?

Footnote: we'd both likely be working full-time low wage jobs as well as attending school (probably with few credit hours).

Rent should be no more than 1/3rd your pre-tax income. In fact, you won't be approved if you don't meet that requirement.

Does anyone have a link to the thread that was like "you have 20 choices for the rest of your life, but can only choose 7" or something like that?

$400 - $400? Wow... where is this magical place that has rent so low? I have a basement apartment without a real kitchen and it's costing me $700 a month (which is cheap in MD). An apartment with a girlfriend is a big leap (and risk). Hope it works out for the both of you.

NOOOOOO someone please tell me this is wrong.

You are just used to yourself in a mirror, which is a reversal of your normal appearance. In fact, some researchers say that if you met an exact duplicate of yourself in real life, you might not recognize them at first because they differ so greatly from your normal self image. I wouldn't worry about it, everyone has that "that's what I look like?" feeling with photos at least once in a while. I know models who think they look weird in photos.

Base rent would be $400, yes. Northwestern Ohio, but of course it depends on the quality of the apartment. We checked one out today and one of the tenants said it's really nice and it's only $375. Our standards our moderately low, but require air conditioning and Internet. Everything else included is a luxury. Paid utilities and or appliances included would be wonderful. Pool, too. Oh and pet friendly. Again, though, not necessary or expected.

Yeah, it's a huge step but her and I have been dating for two years now, and it'll be three years by the time we move out. We'll be saving up for about a year. We're very deeply in love and I have no trepidations.

where do I put my wallet/phone when I'm wearing basketball shorts? I lost my wallet the last time I put it in my pockets

Either don't wear basketball shorts, apply velcro to the wallet/phone and interior of shorts, or wrap some rubber bands around your wallet and phone. Easiest solution being the first one.

I am kinda lost. In my house we have been using an old Sky + box for free view. My dad gave me a Talk Talk You View box recently but I can't use it because the cable coming in is a coax cable. Is there any way I could get an adapter or something to allow me to use the new box because I wanna record stuff. Or should I just sell it and get a freesat + box.

What is the legality of downloading music and videos from YouTube? That is, saving a copy locally as an MP3 or video?

Furthermore, do things change if whatever it is that you're downloading isn't available to buy?

In Canada btw.

What's the best/cheapest way to watch Breaking Bad? I see it's on Netflix, if I subscribe for a month I should be able to watch all episodes including the new ones right?

Netflix won't have the final 8 episodes for quite awhile. But it is probably the cheapest way to watch up to that point.

Amazon video puts episodes up the day after airing for two bucks each. That is what I did when I caught up past where Netflix was.

I asked this in the older Stupid Questions thread and never got an answer:

So, in the US we get canadian pennies mixed in with the rest of our money. Generally, these are both accepted as normal tender and given back as change by most stores etc.

Does the opposite happen in Canada with US pennies?

Yes, all the time. At least, until pennies were phased out recently. ;)

But yeah, American change (quarters, nickels and dimes) show up all the time.

Yes... pennies, 5c coins, 10c coins and even 25c coins are interchangable and retailers don't really care. I assume once it makes it to banks it gets properly separated. Pennies are being phased out though.

edit: beaten

I don't know how they'd go about phasing out pennies. When I worked retail, pennies were pretty vital as far as giving change goes.

Urinals.

I've very rarely used my fly when using one since I always feel like it's such a hassle; instead I just pull my junk over my shorts/jeans and go. Is my method normal? Besides the times when I need to wear my shirt tucked in I see absolutely no point in unzipping. Also when I do need to use my fly, is it just me or is it a hassle using that opening in the front of boxers to find my junk? Is that why they have that opening or do you access the goods through some alternative means?

I do this if my pants are loose/stretchy enough. Hurts my balls a bit sometimes, though.

Over the fence / through the gate is a hotly debated urinating topic. Usually I do the same as you and go over the fence, but there are times I don't want to unbuckle my belt.

Yeah I figured that if you are in a position where you wear a tucked in shirt and belt every day that it would be easier going "through the gate."

What does it mean when people put a # sign in front of certain words or combination of them, like "#yolo" or "#beautifulandlovingit" or something like that? I feel old all of a sudden for not knowing this.

It's called a hashtag. For sites like twitter and tumblr (and extension now Facebook, among several) it's a good way of finding people posting about similar topics. So you posted something about an artist you like on those sites with #<artist>, clicking the tag would take you to where other people mentioned that tag as well..

Most people do it to be ironic though.
