Developers that have never made a "bad game"

None of those are bad games.

Even Armageddon, while not great, is hardly a turd.
Red Faction is fucking hilarious, because it's the perfect example of how to make a dead franchise relevant and then immediately kill it again.

Absolutely laugh worthy.

Madworld's ok gameplay was saved by an excellent style.

Anarchy Reigns is the one you're looking for.

No worries.

Anarchy Reigns is debatable (since "bad" is such a subjective term).

I hold Platinum in high regards, and this is not something someone can really decide for other people, anyway.

Fair enough :p

Red Faction 2, Saints Row 2, Red Faction: Armageddon.

Quite a few turds in their lineup.

If you're going to count bad ports (that wasn't actually ported by them) then I agree with Saints Row 2, cause damn the pc version sucked, but wasn't it overall a pretty damn good game? I still see people refer to it as the best SR.

Obsidian.

I guess I could understand Naughty Dog, but the Uncharted games have some awful gameplay systems. The overall packages aren't bad though.

Isn't this subjected to people's opinion? I am only asking as I don't agree with Naughty Dog never making a bad game, since Jak 2 and 3 were crap and the Uncharted series are far to liner for my liking and never played The Last of Us and don't intend to.

I won't say there are no bad Nintendo games, but the majority are great IMO, and that is impressive considering the sheer volume.

Yeah, Nintendo definitely deserve a mention. They might not have NEVER released a bad game, but the sheer volume of quality they put out is impressive.

MGS4 is the worst video game movie I have ever seen.

Yager

but they've only made 2 and I'm not sure how many from the first game were still there to work on the second.

Thinks buying more servers can fix a bad patch
Platinum games easily, at the risk of guys who think they are praised because they make Wii U games

Dungeon Siege III is an abomination. I really loved the first two. :(

Everything else they've done is great+, though. But DS3, man, I can't let that go.

It was extremely disappointing, and probably their worst game, but co-op was great fun. Responsive controls and fun weapons; there are much worse linear third-person shooters than Red Faction: Armageddon.

Those people are wrong though.

No we're not:)

Ya, I'm not going to say it's bad, because I haven't played it. I just think the franchisicide was absolutely hilarious.

I very much enjoyed the reboot, and I think Volition is a great developer. Especially for Saint's Row.

SquareSoft.
Yeah.... they have some rough spots, like Dewprism or Threads of Fate, or whatever, but they're pretty solid back in the 90's.

I think a lot of people considered Legend of Mana a "bad" game, though. Or maybe just ridiculously disappointing to the Mana name.
