I've never played it, but the "Worst story of the generation" thread convinced me without question.

I got the impression that it was boring and incoherent as fuck. I got it for free from pre-ordering Max Payne 3 on Steam last year and I never even played it or even installed it.

I don't like the Mass Effect franchise, but I objectively think they are great games that just aren't for me.

Dragon Age II is a legitimately awful game and a dark stain on the industry. Dragon Age: Origins is one of the best RPGs of the generation, though.

I agree, but the overall game was still amazing.

Details, details. The shitty loot didn't ruin the game, I was still able to get to the end of the game and enjoy almost every minute of the 120 hours... Also, I skipped the dialogue, because it's a Diablo game. I was playing that shit online with friends on Skype, nobody listens to the story.

I guess if you tried to play it by yourself like it was Final Fantasy or something, it might have not been very good.

I know this may not be exactly correct, but one could argue that first-party Nintendo titles have an incredible batting average, so to speak. I certainly can't think of a terrible game by them.

Naughty Dog don't qualify, because they made Jak II. It's decent, but still pretty lacking, especially compared to the other games in the series.

That's your opinion, some people have the opinion that Jak 2 is the best game in the series. It may be hard, but it's most certainly not a flat out bad game.

Ubisoft is a big publishers with many studios underneath. They have developed and published countless games. No bad games? Not even one? I count many.

Retro Studios - Metroid Prime Trilogy. I don't care for either DKC games but that doesn't mean they aren't good games.

Criterion - Most Wanted is just as great as Burnout 3 IMO. Hated Paradise and never played Black (gun porn).
