Football Thread 2013/14 |OT6| Relentless gobbrish

I can't hate on Valencia this game, he had some pretty good games recently. Still shit today, but wasn't the worse player in Man Utd by far.

Hell, one reason why he is shit is because Smaliling was so fucking useless at the back.

The thing is you get what you pay for. Instead of going for a 2 times Champions League manager and title winner of the 3 biggest leagues, who was begging and crying to get the job, they went for a Scotsman who can't beat a top team and with zero European experience.

Nemlig

Their requirement to lead one of the biggest clubs in the world was...that he was of the same nationality as Ferguson. It has to be that, because his credentials certainly are not up to par to manage a team like United.

How did man u dominating the game before RVP? I'm sorry, but i seriously forget.

Our wingers were bossing it and Rooney got to play up top. Nani's always had good games against City.

Right now, our wingers aren't the creative type and are horribly off form. Welbeck is the striker up top despite having no end product and negating his actual good qualities by giving him less of the ball and not getting a chance to win the ball back.

They went for someone who would continue with Fergie's tactics rather than introduce new ones. Moyes would be fine, we can't win titles with the current crop of players though.

I like Klopp. Not sure he was the best fit. But going for a 'top' manager. Should have been the the way to go. Moyes has that overwhelming feeling of average.

Watch the first goal, see what Valencia did.

Then when Valencia gets the ball, he never runs at defenders.

So the question is, when will Valencia run.

He is to blame for the first goal. He was daydreaming while two City players attacked on their left flank, leaving Smalling to deal with them. Kolarov passed to the goal.

It's just one half of one game in a season that has just barely started. Jesus christ United GAF.

We were shit against Liverpool and Chelsea. No tooth in attack. This is another similar performance and lineup.

That's my boy

How can you possibly blame De Gea for either goal? What the fuck.

Yeah, I don't see why people are pointing him out.

Valencia hasn't had some pretty good games recently. He's only had 1, which was the CL game. Every other game he's been shit.

Agreed with Smalling. He's so shit going forward. Can't blame him though, Moyes is the one playing him out of position.

Yeah, I understand not going for Jose, but they should have been throwing crazy money at Klopp. Would have been the perfect fit. Unless of course they did and Klopp and Conte turned them down.

Klopp has expressed his desire to manage in the PL, and he'd get the best out of Kagawa.

United were incompetent in not going for him.

I'm no fan of United but it's too bad they're getting destroyed by City. I had hoped the game would end in a draw as this would benefit Arsenal the most.
