@Infinite_esai Players who pre-order PC Download versions of BF4 on Origin can pre-load within 24 hours of release http://t.co/YBn9YJZjIM
got this response from the battlefield twitter.
Sorry it's not the twitter link since I'm on my cell. All I can do atm is copy-pasta

For what it's worth, I've received no emails from GMG about the promo. My account is a couple years old though. Wonder what the actual criteria are for the deal... annoying that it's not just open for all. :(

The Code only works for specific accounts that received the email. They havent released keys yet but in the past that have released keys early to allow for pre-load

Code worked for me and I have not received a email about it, but have had an account for a few years. For people trying to enter the code one thing I noticed is that if you copy/paste it, the add voucher button remains greyed out, but if you delete the last character and re-enter it it turned green and allowed me to enter it. North American here.

I already prepurchased BF4 on GMG when they were giving a $12 credit. If I view the BF4 page logged in, there is no add to cart button but if I view it while logged out, I can add it, then log in and I can apply the voucher. Now, my question is can I buy a second copy for a friend or will that just fuck shit up? I'm sure no one can answer this question.

I got a question. I don't know if it's been answered yet but I'd rather not scroll through 500 replies.

If you pre-order Battlefield 4 on the 360 and get the free 'China Rising' DLC that comes with the pre-order, would you get the DLC free on the XB1 as well if/when you upgrade your 360 version of the game to the XB1 version?

I would guess yes since it's tied to your account, but it's EA so idk for sure.

GMG is doing a 20% off promo for the PC version with this code: TAREM-BF4NA-PROMO

Though by the sound of things on BF4 reddit, it's available only to existing GMG accounts. Worth a try if you haven't preordered yet. Finally got mine in with this. I am excite. \o/

Thanks a lot, I was bummed when I missed the 25% off code GMG had earlier in the year. Was hoping for another one but it looks like this is as close as it's gonna get.

The concept of it is already far too advanced for the typical player. I doubt it'll be heavily abused (not to mention locking on is sort of a pain).

They had a similar thing in 2142 -- 'rifle rockets' were an underbarrel attachment that you could set to a certain range by aiming, and I think could adjust the airburst range with the mousewheel. Nobody used them at first, and I seem to recall the general consensus was that they were either grossly underpowered or flat out broken. They were perfectly fine of course, and were great fun to use for killing campers.

Then a few months later, the general populace had it figured out and it was rocket spam everywhere. D:

This is totally getting nerfed :/. It does seem like it needs skill and time for you to do it at least.
Exactly. To setup the shot, you're having to expose yourself and be without any other firing method for a good amount of time. It also doesn't kill immediately and requires a few shots to land by the looks of it.

Seems balanced enough to me.

Crap, I have a real good order on BF4 Deluxe + Premium. However playing the games a few days earlier is almost too good to pass up ... Should I pay the extra money for Deluxe and Premium on Origin, think I might.

Release times are out now.

If you use a VPN to unlock it, you should be able to play at 10AM EST on Monday.

Can't click the link because I'm at work but this will only allow me to play SP, right? The game will be locked again once I disconnect from the VPN, right? I remember doing the same with BF3 and just stuck with SP (..yeah) for the duration just to be safe but this time it's a goddamn 4 day off until European release and I need the MP in my veins right now.

You could play BF3 multiplayer with the early unlock.

Oh, really? Thought Origin is like Steam in that aspect, in that it will be locked again once I disconnect from the VPN (woulnd't wanna play MP on a VPN).

Better off buying it from Amazon tbh. Though if you find a cheap US distributor let me know!

US only, no details for the UK. Might attempt to VPN it though.

Wonder if the campaign will be any good in this one or not. I got bored of BF3 after the tank mission and stopped playing.
