Serious question here, if that's the difference between some multiplatform games this early on, will this gap increase or decrease over time?

I wonder if the Wii U brought additional pressure? That is, if Wii U/PS4 were out this year it'd be fine, but Wii U was out this year and PS4 this year, so they need to get out before BOTH of them can eat their lunch.

I do not understand how a longer embargo than the other version because there are bad news about a game is not morally reprehensible. Someone said the problem with the gaming journalism is that it isn't actually journalism but neutral flavored PR and i kinda agree with him. Wth..

KI was always confirmed to be 720P/60 framerate, that was known since E3 and the justification was that Double Helix wanted that 60 frames per second above anything else.

Adam clearly stated it for ps4. so Albert is contractually obligated by himself to shut up and tell people 720p upscale to 1080p is same as native

And just speculation... but since we haven't seen a second of ac4 of the xbox and ubi aren't really performance wizards... you can probably plop that in the 720p column also.


Edit: heh, I'm the source for cod. I haven't mentioned bf4 outloud anywhere so he is talking to someone else... or guessing - correctly.

Why the fuck would they make the XB1 embargo stretch out like that? Would that not be more controversial? MS PR/Marketing department seems so dysfunctional. They seemingly want to hide everything as if that will make bad news go away.

The Xbone is going to be a seriously gimped console if you're even remotely interested in third party titles it seems.
This is really concerning if developers are struggling like this. Even when the PS3 was brand new developers never ever showed differences in quality as huge as this.

Albert works as an agent for Microsoft. He owes a fiduciary duty to Microsoft not to reveal trade secrets or harmful information.

Reviewers sign NDAs to get review consoles and games early. Those consoles and games come with restrictions on when and what things you can talk about. The performance of a console would probably be one as well as an abnormal embargo date could be another.

Both of these are examples of contractual obligations.

Jesus Christ... I thought Madden was running in 1080p on the XB1?
