It's amazing how good CoD looks with decent textures for a change. (Aside from dat Pipe lol)

Also: Amazing W2 shots.

The game can still be quite pretty at times, but it really only shines in the city shots.

Shadows, textures and model detail (main char is still ok) are not really up to par anymore. And horrible pop-in during those shitty horse riding sequences. Still, much more fun than the shitty PS3 version back in the day. 140fps + good AA are helping...

LOD really kills views like that. It looks like an empty city with plain, concrete blocks shaped somewhat like houses. And the terrain in the distance just looks silly with those sprite bushes.

I wonder how long before we can have that looking like a detailed city with actual people living in it from that distance. Next-next gen?

Wish there was a way to impliment this kind of art style via enb/sweetfx

Although using low smaa thresholds and the sweetfx cartoon shader can give a pretty cool look it's not as appealing as this in my opinion.

Yeah, Ghosts might not look like BF4, but the people saying it looks the same as current-gen are crazy. It's a significant leap forward from Modern Warfare 3.

I don't see an option, which is why I asked.

I thought there may have been some confusion.

For multiplayer, you can join servers as a spectator. This lets you press F4 to get a free roaming camera.

For singleplayer, there's officially nothing. For my own shots, I created a no-clip \ flymode with Cheat Engine, along with a script that hides my weapon model. But it's since become useless after a few patches.

Ah, meant for Multi. For single player, I have a Macro set up to change between my gadgets really fast over and over again. I spam the screenshot button and hopefully one of the shots is with the gun out of the screen, lol. I end up with a needlessly large folder that I have to thin down.

or you could just time it. Change weapon and then you have a small room for a screenshot, pretty easy.

Is that SweetFX film grain in these images or is it native to the game? It might just be my eyes playing tricks but it looks like you can see a pattern in the bottom one.
...

The mood of this game is a lot darker than I originally thought. Having some issues with SoftTh + D3D Looking Glass where every time I pick up a "memory" and it plays the audio (or a pre-rendered cut-scene), the focus switches from the game. When switching back (alt-tab) I've now lost audio until the next cut-scene. Anyone else tried SoftTH with this?

The grain is the game's Native film grain.

The screenshots are all taken at 3200x1333 (2:35:1 AR) with 4xSGSSAA (0x000000C0)
And downsampled to 1600x667

The pattern is quite noticeable in very dark scenes. It's not really noticeable when playing though.
