Just tuned back in to see if this was still going on, before I go to bed. This new guy straight up told him not to go into safe mode.
Not saying it's a MS thing at all but I have a hard time believing it's genuine.

It seems like more than anything these launch-week twitch streams are a carnival of crazy, with Bob Barker dressed in a gimp suit with the mouth zipped still trying to talk to yell "come on down" to the clowns while they wobble in on electric unicycles until the cords yank out of the sockets and they all come crashing into the audience yelling "freedom!" in a strange mockery of that Braveheart scene.
Meanwhile sanity must still exist somewhere on the internet.

Here is my theory, when he got it to work, he turned off the stream, he KNEW that he would lose a ton of people so he "broke" it again, he knows exactly how to fix it but is refusing to show us something behind the scenes.
I think he is doing this for views, followers, and press.

No. My PC was running slow as fuck so I rebooted it. When chrome re-opened to the stream that's what came up. I just took a quick screenshot of it before the commercial ended.

Yeah, though some of his choices have been less than wise. Normal sensible people would have either formatted the hard drive from the PS UI when he had the chance or just given up and gotten a free ps4 from sony in exchange for a free ps4 from taco bell.
